So if you need somebody to be supportive emotionally that person who stated "i'm your rock" will be the one to provide the emotional support. If you lean on a rock, it is sturdy and will not be moved. It will support you. So it works out the same figuratively. The English language is full of idioms, figurative speech, and homonyms. Can make it very difficult to understand and speak.

Personally for me, my Fav was the Korean version & I, too, Liked it better 😍 over the Taiwanese original one but that doesn't mean, for me, that overall I didn't like some things about the original... but I do know everybody has their different preference , where there are alot of people who love the Taiwanese original version way better than the Korean remake & hated that version of it or Visa Versa, in Loving the Korean remake over the Taiwanese original & not liking the original at all.. Or there are some who like both of those & so, I GET IT & TRULY DO UNDERSTAND!
I think we can all agree since EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT, that IT'S EACH TO THEIR OWN of what each person's taste of preference is, of what they like or like better or don't like!😉

I have never met mine they both died way before I was born , but when I was around 10 we adopted the lady next door she was such a sweet heart and still miss her to this day she lived until her 104th bday and, kept her own garden and house until she was 99 and that was only because she broke her hip on the way to church. I loved her so much all of my family did including my Dad he would always check up on her to make sure she was OK.
