I really like how they call their initiation canonizing. Canonizing is catholic terminology for claiming a deceased member of the faith to be a saint. While it’s not killing, it is a rite through a beating or giving back a beating to be a saint. I don’t want to get into the whole mindset of ‘so many metaphors, hurr’ or anything like that...but if we’re talking the seven sins, Gat’s definitely Wrath.
I’ve actually been hoping for a Saints Row 1 & 2 remake with The Third’s better controls and modern graphics (as well as a female option in the first game) but with the story the same, maybe just re-record the lines if necessary.
They will never do it, but it would be awesome to see it all shiney and new. It'd be nice to see the models and textures reworked. I personally would prefer that over a SR3 graphical mimic.
Last time we really heard about him in saints row, he dropped his flags and went straight then got a job at ultor, we tried to find him but he disappeared and then ended up in gat out of hell
R.I.P. I played from Saints Row 2 onwards but never had a chance to play this one and searched for this just to feel better after that sjw shitshow of a reboot. Man, this game was ahead of it's time in some aspects and the tone, humor and the dialog/story as a whole are something that I've missed for a long time and something that for sure will not be present in the "reboot". I hate that "the reboot" and this have the exact same name.

I actually enjoyed this video a lot more than I expected I would, I really wanted to play it but the pc "port" runs like absolute dog shit and I wanted to see the story before playing SR2, this is far better than watching one of the 10+ hour videos/series of the entire play through, you showed just enough actual game play to understand the gaps in cutscenes which made it so much better.
@@OskarasNauseda that's why I said "port", there is an unofficial xbox 360 port using emulation software but sr1 was never able to run correctly through emulation like some games can. It gets an average of about 10fps and can hardly take advantage of modern hardware so no matter the specs it runs horribly. Maybe it's better by now but I doubt it.
there is no pc port. if you want it on pc, you have to emulate the xbox 360. it never even came to playstation. and it runs perfectly on a 1050ti, a piece of shit graphics card.
I remember playing this when it was brand new on Xbox 360, I loved it however, I thought I would never touch another Saint's Row game because of the ending annoyed me, and then 2 came out which made the ending of 1 better imo and I love all 4 of the games. ("Gat out of Hell" is meh for me but just my opinion). That said I think they all have their own charm to them.
They had BETTER add Johnny's Venom to SR5!! Lol. SUPER nice job on the editing for this too. Gz, and thx. Lol. Controller batteries are low, as you chase Donnie out. Greatness. Best Price kill in history, btw.
@@NidokingOtsutsukiSR is best. But both 1 and 2 have worst controls. It's stiff. Foot controls are awful and placed on wrong buttons. Playa Gluttony especially on SR2 when confronting Julius who don’t need to say which sin he represents

I wish they brought back games like this
I found it crazy how everyone's voices matured in Ben King's mission in Saints Row 4, especially those 3 VK's being swole af.
The first one was Michael Clarke Duncan, the fourth one was Terry Crews.
It crazy how the facial expressions and motions are better in this game than in saints row 2.
