Four people in the movie die by getting stabbed: mechanic with a crowbar, Kelly impaled with a shotgun, Al and Orrin both stabbed with a knife.
I think one of the best chapters of this film is inside the house. Imagine being locked inside a big, dark, old house by the people that are supposed to protect you...and the monster lurks in a dark room.
I watched this yesterday, and it had some great moments, especially when you thought away that mask and gave Michael Another one, but even more especially Loomis and the priest. When the priest offered him a drink and Loomis gave him that smile, I was convinced that they were going to start to sing together and be bosom buddies. Donald Pleasence is sorely missed! But as we know, there are other Loomises around … :-D
So glad you guys did Halloween 4. I love this movie. It is my favorite of the franchise. I loved Jamie and Rachel. It had some of the most tense scenes like the roof chase and Michael chasing Jamie in the school. I liked Sheriff Meeker and Dr. Loomis was at his most awesome. Even though Michaels mask kindof sucked it was a bad ass movie and the best of the “Throne Trilogy”. IMO
I like the mask from the original # 2 Halloween film when he walked through the heavy window door in the hospital also when he was carrying the nurse on the scalpel mask look terrifying the scene was off the meter..
18:27 they did film that scene. The Fangoria magazine issue that covered H4 back in 1988 had them visit the set to take pictures during filming and there is photos of Michael in the police station covered in blood. The footage exists somewhere, it just seems to be lost for now...which is also why we haven’t seen it as a deleted scene in any of the DvD/Blu Ray releases. In the scene Michael is walking through handgun rounds and throwing people over tables and counters. Absolute terminator shit. It’s arguably the most legendary deleted scene in the franchise. Halloween 5 also has a very famous deleted scene in the beginning of the film where instead of floating down a river and finding a hermit, Michael stumbles through the woods and finds an abandoned cabin where a young man is practicing witchcraft and his name was Doctor Death, Michael actually dies due to his gunshot wounds from the state troopers whilst walking into the cabin, Dr. Death then finds and puts Michael ontop of a pentagram design on the floor in a room surrounded by candles, then takes his mask off and wears it. Then he puts a curse on Michael during a ritual which brings him back from the dead but also gives him the Curse of the Thorn and shows the mark on his wrist. Then Michael kills him and takes his mask back.
Its a good sequel. I really loved it growing up (always hated the mask) but as I got older and after the 2018 film and Kills came out, I prefer that timeline. A big reason for that is the mask and James Jude Courtney as Myers. George Wilbur is a nice man but I thought Michael looked goofy and not scary in 4. One of the worst shots is after he gets thrown from the car and stands back up with his Data mask and no neck. It looked horrible. A lot of people may not like the new trilogy, it does have its issues, but at least they've nailed the most important thing, Michael Myers himself.
Great review. Love the feeling of halloweem 4. It was awesome loved the Halloween atmosphere. Just watched it the other nite on HD. It was great on HD. Shape on!!!!.
"I will get those fucking lotto tickets from you jamie" "You didn't want it in your butt" Omg I died on those parts. My head was hurting from laughing lol Great review guys as always. When it comes to Halloween 4 it gets you in the spirit of Halloween. Idk it's, just strange that way. Now the mask yea yea it's not the best, but at the same time there's something eerie about it, very nightmarish. It gives you an uncomfortable feeling when looking at it in certain scenes.
This was the first Halloween that really nailed the Halloween season . As perfect as the first is, its really summertime Southern California and so is the sequel really. But this has got that colder, fall time, middle America feel down to a T and it seemed more real for some reason. Nice job fellas!
That fucking cut scene where “Michael” gets Loomis in the Walls Of Jericho I literally spat out my drink! Ffs 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 living for your little cut scenes
i've watched Halloween 4 A lot more times than any of the other films. for sure H4 can be silly at times and the Lynch mob was pretty ridiculous. Myers doesn't look all that great in this one either. He looks to too big and clunky. However, I still think H4 is pretty good. IMO Rachel is one of the more likable characters in the franchise. She wan'ts to protect Jamie at all costs and is willing to risk her own life, despite the fact that she and Jamie are not real sisters. shame they ruined her character in H5 by killing her off so early.
I never really understood the gas station scene either where Loomis shoots at Michael in the kitchen and he disappears. Upon further viewing as I have gotten older the conclusion I have come to is that Michael wasn't actually standing there. It was Loomis having a mental breakdown and hallucinating that Michael was standing there because he just found a bunch of dead people. Basically he is losing his mind but is also the only one who's talking sense about Michael. I could be totally off base on this but that's the only thing that makes any sense to me with this scene. If you go back and watch it again Loomis sort of has that look on his face after he fires and sees nothing kind of like damn it happened again.
Did I say he imagined him trying to run over him with the pickup truck 30 seconds later? Upon reviewing what I wrote it doesn't appear that I said that. Michael was indeed driving the truck.@@tgriffin3059
Wilbur was wearing shoulder pads because they thought he looked too small. That's why Michael looks so stiff and neckless. It restricted his movements too, kinda like Darth Vader. I think his movements would've been a whole lot more fluent without the shoulder pads.
I have always liked H4 I Rember growing up and always watching H1 and 2 and I always wondered if and when they would bring Myers back and sure enough in 1988 they did and I was about 13 or 14 by then I saw it in the theatre I still think H2 is far better but H4 is 3rd best , well 4th now that we know the new movie will probly take over 2nd best .
18:00 only problem with that is when we're dealing with Michael it's meant to be like whoa what are we dealing with. Sometimes not seeing the process is even scarier than actually seeing it
I’m just barely watching the series for the first time all the way through, and when I got to 4 and they walk into the ruined police station, it just seemed unrealistic that Michael would be able to take down an entire police station walking in with a knife without getting riddled with bullets. And my first thought having seen Halloween 5 on cable a few times, was that it was Doctor Wynn and his cult who kills everyone in the police station, similar to part 5, and that a lot of the plot convenience (Michael being transferred on October 31st) was also Wynn’s doing, no other evidence to support this but that was my first reaction seeing the movie
I remember being 13 when this was released and going to it and loving every minute of it. Years later as an adult I still like it but there are part not liked but still better than any other sequel after this one.
A lot of people don’t realize this, but Bobby Brady, Mike Lookinland was a Production Assistant on Halloween 4. Always found it a little interesting Bobby Brady had something to do with the franchise before
So cool that you guys like H6 as 2nd behind the original! Hope you guys do a great job reviewing and paying tribute to that film and maybe starting a campaign to fund a true sequel to the ending of that film using the same director of H6 to give you the blue tinted atmosphere of the movie.
Great review fellas. One scene that I don't think you guys commented on and it was one of my favorite sequences in the film is when Meeker and Loomis start to freak out because they both see multiple Michael Myers and the first time I saw that it was such a what the fuck moment and then it's simply explained and revealed as it was some teenagers playing a prank ...yeah I really liked that scene. And I for sure agree with you guys about how they should have shown the police station Massacre but they do the same thing in part 5 when the man in Black goes into the police station kills all the cops and breaks Michael out of jail you see the aftermath of it which was brutal but unfortunately you didn't get to see how it actually played out. But yea great review fellas. 👊😎👍
I called the halloween 4 mask the "proper" Michael Myers mask. His hair is nicely parted, and like so different from the original mask. Like the original mask had the weird overgrown mullet hair. This one (4) was like sorry it wasn't nice the in the first two....

Jay around the 12 minute mark you make a comment about how Jamie knew what the mask looked liked before she actually saw Micheal, remember she was also teased a lot in school and they show a scene where she is getting picked on. I'm sure the kids might know his name and what kind of mask he was wearing. just an idea
Really good sequel for sure. It's just a shame about the quality (or lack of) of the mask. But seeing Myers' face covered in bandages in the beginning was awesome.
I fucking love this movie, but y’all are spot on! That damn mask, and the end, and and the performance of Myers was off, however somehow dude fixes that in 6... for the most part.
I disagree with the police station massacre scene. It's much better that it was left out, it's pretty much impossible if you think about it. There is like what? Ten cops in the room, all with guns? It would have seemed too ridiculous. I know Michael is thought of as supernatural very much, but seeing him get shot over and over again with no hesitation, would of been dumb. It works much better that it just shows the aftermath. BTW i also love this movie. It's probably the only film next to the original where I watch it the most. I think everything from the scene where Rachel and Jamie are brought to the sheriff's house to the end, is pretty solid. I hate the mask and Jamie attacking her mom, those parts suck
God I love you silly bitches. Yeah the opening kills of this movie rank in my Top 5. Nailed it right on the head that we see a next level viciousness from Michael that only escalates in 6. Solid review as always fellas. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Great reviews Mike and J was rolling when Michael and Jason were on the phone lol.the wrestling clip with Loomis and Michael was off the chain Thanks for making me laugh Great review as well One of my favorite parts in part 4 was the Preacher man and Loomis kicking it in the truck with some whiskey your a Pilgrim alright

The kills, acting (Danielle Harris slaughters Jamie Lee Curtis, much better imo), and protagonist characters were better in this than the original Halloween. Score wasn't as good but still good. But I mean, I think this is possibly superior.
Don’t remember where I read this (it was a long time ago), but they apparently had Wilbur wear hockey pads to make him look more intimidating, which could explain why he looks weird at times.
For me Halloween 4 is my favorite movie of all time! Everything about this movie is my favorite the soundtrack the atmosphere the look of Michael everything about this movie is my favorite I have absolutely no problems with this movie

The holiday has been nicknamed "Devil's Night" in Detroit, Michigan, because of its association with a series of arson cases from the 1970s to the early 1990s.
The first Halloween movie in which Donald Pleasence stars without Jamie Lee Curtis.
George P. Wilbur (Michael Myers) has said in an interview that his favorite kill in the movie is when he kills Kelly Meeker (Kathleen Kinmont) by pinning her to the wall with the shotgun.
The scene in which Michael kills the mechanic was originally shown with Michael stabbing the mechanic in the throat with the crowbar it was ultimately cut because it was deemed too gory.
Body count: 19 (including the dog)
Jamie's dog Sundae is the third dog to die in the series.
This is the first movie in the series that Michael Myers kills before October 31st. He murders all four people in the ambulance on the night of October 30th.
Michael killing Kelly by pinning her to the wall is similar to how he kills Bob in Halloween (1978), except he pins Bob to the wall with a knife and Kelly with a shotgun. Rudy's death in a later film, Halloween: Resurrection (2002) is also similar, except he's pinned by three knives to a door.
Michael hit the Lion Tamer😂😂😂😂. Why I'm I just finding you guys, this is great.
Zero dislikes....finally, the truth!
Nothing but love for my dudes!!!! 🤗🎃
Melrose Place.
That Jason and Micheal sketch had me on the floor 😂😂
Halloween Horror Month 2018, revisited.
Around 20:30 when Myers puts Loomis in a boston crab was hysterical!
This is actually my favorite ending in the series and it reinforces the theme that you can't kill evil the evil just gets passed on
I read a script for H6, a pre Farrands script, in which the man in black wound up being the drunk preacher Carpenter from this movie
This movie was my childhood. At 12 and no nightmares. First horror movie also.
Supposedly In part 5 there's footage of Michael vs. A swat team but who knows
i've been slacking, been so caught up in work. Finally caught up with you guys!!
What are you not telling me jamie!?!?! Cookie woman! 🤣🤣🤣
GOD DAMN U MIIIIIIIIIIIIIICHAEEEEEEELLLLLL!!! That video had my crying...esprcially the out takes of it!!!
I always wanted to know what the old man priest was hunting. He said he "came too damn close"
He's hunting the darkness. The end of the world.
Loved this review guys, especially all the behind the scenes stuff about the mask.
The Jesus ain't got nothing to do with this place line sent a shiver down my spine first time I heard it. That was an A+ character for sure.
I'm watching Halloween 4 Return Of Michael Myers right now!! One of my favorite of the franchise!!!
Best. Channel. Intro. Ever
R.I.P. Ted Hollister
The mask looks like a cheap ass party city dollar store Halloween mask but it's all good
Yeah that shit scared me as a kid especially in Jamie's nightmare .. Didn't know it was a bad mask until the 2010's internet
"I will get those fucking lotto tickets from you jamie"
"You didn't want it in your butt"
Omg I died on those parts. My head was hurting from laughing lol
Great review guys as always.
And I’d also like to add, I loved the people’s elbow Loomis did, but he didn’t wiggle his leg and that’s made me emotional 😂😂😂
I luv at the end of these vids Mike leaves and J gets in a funny last line or two. Solid fucking breakdown boys. Thank You!
This is why we need a never sleep again like documentary for the Halloween series get in depth in every fucking movie
Gas station scene was awesome, movie was entertaining as a whole. This review was fantastic, thanks for the amazing content boys.
i've watched Halloween 4 A lot more times than any of the other films. for sure H4 can be silly at times and the Lynch mob was pretty ridiculous.
So stoked you guys are on the Jamie Lloyd trilogy!
I always liked the ending...it's not like they stuck with Jamie being the killer. Excited to see you guys review Part 5. Thanks!
Finally gave this a rewatch and enjoyed it much more then I remembered
Did he just 'imagine' him trying to run him over with the pickup truck 30 seconds later?
You guys should review stabbing in the dark. It’s a new song by the same people who sang thank god it’s Friday, except it’s about Michael Myers
"Some guy got god damn drunk on bourbon" hilarious 😂
A lot of people don’t realize this, but Bobby Brady, Mike Lookinland was a Production Assistant on Halloween 4. Always found it a little interesting Bobby Brady had something to do with the franchise before
I actually liked this movie great review WWAM!!!
You realize of course, that crazy dude in the truck is Blue from Old School. YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE!!!
1:04 - 1:09 sexy Micahel Myers fail ever !!! 😂❤️😂❤️😂
I love how in some shots Loomis has the fried egg looking scar on his face then they changed it cuz that's what it looked like a fried egg LOL
"Wise up to what men want, Rachel."
"Or Brady won't be the last man you lose to another woman."
So cool that you guys like H6 as 2nd behind the original! Hope you guys do a great job reviewing and paying tribute to that film and maybe starting a campaign to fund a true sequel to the ending of that film using the same director of H6 to give you the blue tinted atmosphere of the movie.
This is a good analysis and contains much I did not know. Thanks guys. A reminder of how good this movie is.
👊😎👍
My favorite movie of the series.
I bet if Dr loomis went to taco bell at 2 am he'd be like.. "I TELL YOU! I ORDERED 3 BURRITO SUPREME! I ORDER GOTDAMN CHEESY FIESTA TACO'S! "
I called the halloween 4 mask the "proper" Michael Myers mask. His hair is nicely parted, and like so different from the original mask. Like the original mask had the weird overgrown mullet hair. This one (4) was like sorry it wasn't nice the in the first two....
The ending of H4 fucked me up. Saw it when I was 10 and I was terrified of my sister an couldn't sleep
_The scream the woman gives when Jamie Lloyd's character stabs her is deafening._
Raymond O'Connor looks like he was just chewing on tootsie rolls or a dingle berry and had one stuck on his tooth hahahahhahaha!!!
You know even though I am fairly new to this channel
I can still listen to both of you Jay and Mike review all the Halloweens all day you both make me laugh so much
And your skits are amazingly hilarious!!!.As I watch your channel,I also watch Fear Fest on TV..Every October .
You are both GREAT!!!! LUV YA Linda from Toronto xx🎃🎃🎃🎃🔪🔪🔪📆📆📆📆❤❤🙂💀💀💀☠❗❗❗
Fuckin A! You guys are unbeatable! Great review! I agree by the way . That security guard is a highlight! Damn good work my dudes!
Some day I will smoke weed and listen to rap songs with Mike and J
Jay around the 12 minute mark you make a comment about how Jamie knew what the mask looked liked before she actually saw Micheal, remember she was also teased a lot in school and they show a scene where she is getting picked on. I'm sure the kids might know his name and what kind of mask he was wearing. just an idea
Dude i would be so fucking happy if they had a strobe light scene like in Halloween 6
Really good sequel for sure. It's just a shame about the quality (or lack of) of the mask. But seeing Myers' face covered in bandages in the beginning was awesome.
GOD DAMNIT MICHAAALLLL!!!!!
Hell yea sumthen to listen to while I fall asleep tonight
This version of Myers was horrible lmao. He just looked so damn weird but as you guys said the fall/Halloween feel is fuckin great!
I fucking love this movie, but y’all are spot on! That damn mask, and the end, and and the performance of Myers was off, however somehow dude fixes that in 6... for the most part.
You Guys Should Have Seen It In The Theaters It Was Great My First Halloween Film At The Movies
YAY My FAVORITE Halloween Movie & Sequel!
Been waiting for the part 4 review since u guys started pop corn is ready lol
I love the gas station scene in this. I love Loomis. The thumb death is pretty Fuckin cool too 👍🏼😮🎃
Lol he rubbed off on her, Michael Myers rubbed off on his niece 😂 the producers cut of 6 makes way more sense now
God I love you silly bitches.
100% Great Video Brothers Man You Guys Make Such Great Videos You Love Halloween Just As Much As I Keep Up The Great Work October 19th Michaels Birthday And World Wide Halloween 2018 Can't Wait.
The kills, acting (Danielle Harris slaughters Jamie Lee Curtis, much better imo), and protagonist characters were better in this than the original Halloween. Score wasn't as good but still good. But I mean, I think this is possibly superior.
Yeah its my favorite halloween
Don’t remember where I read this (it was a long time ago), but they apparently had Wilbur wear hockey pads to make him look more intimidating, which could explain why he looks weird at times.
I agreed with you 💯% like the is fine (to me) but the ending is what really holds it back to me.
For me Halloween 4 is my favorite movie of all time! Everything about this movie is my favorite the soundtrack the atmosphere the look of Michael everything about this movie is my favorite I have absolutely no problems with this movie
