If i recall correctly both of the girls parents work in or with music. I think their mom was an opera singer and their dad teaches about music at a university. I could be wrong tho. Makes sense why these girls slam as much as they do. I would reccomend checking out their "sign of the time" batlle that they had with 2 other girls it is sooo good

i literally watch the voice kids religiously and i remember how i literally watched every episode for the pat 7 years but somehow the only episodes i missed were the ones they were in i even missed the finals that year where they won, i watched all their performances on youtuber afterwards tho germany has the voice of germany and the voice kids the voice kids are kids from like 7 or 8 to 15 and its incredible what some of these kids can do
I suggest you check out their battle round with Kimberly & Greta singing "Sign of the Times." I think that performance was better than "Creep." The judge who went to hug Mimi & Josy, Lena Meyer Landrut commonly does wild things on the show, so this is not out of character. I do not understand German, but her general demeanor suggests she is a lovable nutcase. A couple of other Voice Kids suggestions for you. Emma, 9 year old (at the time) French girl singing " Je Suis Malade" from 2018 and Georgia singing "House of the Rising Sun" in this year's German show. There are plenty of other great performances you can see by viewing the many compilations that Voice Kids have put on You Tube.

After having watched everything I highly recommend this years winning girl Georgia. She did an INCREDIBLE version of "House of the rising sun" during her blind audition and a fantastic finals performance of "I Can't help falling in Love with you". She is ELEVEN years old and carries more Blues in her voice than 90% of all adults

And then there is Tilman (14 at the time with his version of "Jailhouse Rock" and Cosma (who had me in tears more or less from the start of her songs, every time she performed). Her tone was/is way "softer" than that of the other talents named here, yet nonetheless impressive. She mostly did German songs on 'The Voice Kids', but I highly recommend watching her battlle ("Angel") in which all three contestants were stunningly good (at least to my ears).

Almost every country in Europe has it's own version of the show. If you log onto "UA-cam" and search for "The Voice Kids" you will find several hundred videos. If you want you can add the country name as a suffix - i.e. "The Voice Kids Germany" will give you only videos from the German show. This video that you are critiquing on "Mimi and Josefine " I think is from the 2021 season of the show filmed in the studios in Berlin. Mimi is 15 and Josefine is 13 and are sisters. The are from the city of Augsburg in southern Germany. (This you would find out if you listened beyond the point where you stopped the video, and if you understood German.) By the way, their mother is a nationally known opera singer and their father is a nationally known conductor.
