Here's the thing. Their goal was to see the first black winner of BB. None of the other players would be on board for that goal because they ultimately would be agreeing to second or third place at best. Only the black players could both shoot for the goal and also win the grand prize. It's simple and they did it beautifully. Congratulations X!!!
So, they are not counting celebrity BB, because Tamar is actually the first black winner of BB
@@winifredbryant-sigler2530 Tamar is the first black female winner of season 2 Celebrity Big Brother. There's a difference. There has never been a single black winner of all the 21 years of Big Brother!! If you don't understand the difference between the 2 shows then I can't help you!
........................
@@blueforest4589 if a white person had the same goal as the black players, where is the racism? Do you not see any racism in the fact that it took 20 seasons to see 1 black player succeed?
@@blueforest4589 if you don't understand the difference between CBB an BB, you're right.
The cookout had their mission and they achieved it! Amazing. Xavier is a great winner.
I stopped watching years ago because I thought it was never going to happen. NOW I wish I watched the show this season.
Me too!
It was epic. I stopped watching a few years back but heard about the cookout and started watching. Best season ever.
Not too late ⏰ I sure you can get it on demand. It was amazing 🤩 to watch
It was good
I’m watching now. I missed half.
Racism is a dislike or hatred of another race. You never never saw that this season. All the tears shed when one left for jury proved that. Thanks to all of them for a good season.
Congratulations!👍👍 Nothing like a black cookout. O the fun and the food. Lot's black friends since teen years.
Well said “black unity” can achieve many goals!! Well deserved Xavier 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾✊🏾
@@blueforest4589 GO BLACK UNITY!! ✊🏾

I like seeing Nate get more comfortable in his role on CBS Mornings. I hope they begin letting him do some hard-hitting pieces. And Tony, hats off to you too for showing your versatility in this interview.
I love Xavier. Well spoken and super intelligent. Congratulations Xavier!!!!!!!
He’s a credit to his race🤗🤗🤗
god bless black america and the culture. i love y’all
God Bless White America and the culture!!

Congrats to him...and for #TeamCookout. Well done.
_Big Brother_ is a Dutch TV program that first started airing in 1999, and has since grown to over 60 franchise countries and regions around the world. Xavier Prather is the first Black American to win _Big Brother US_ since the US edition of the program began in 2000, but he's not the first Black person to win in any other contest of the Big Brother franchise. Two examples: Cherise Makubale (a procurement officer from Kitwe, Zambia) won _Big Brother Africa_ (the first-ever pan-continental edition of the franchise) in 2003. Brian Belo was the winner of Season 8 of _Big Brother UK_ in 2007.
But all of that said: it's way past time for this to have happened, so congratulations to Prather and to "The Cookout" for making it happen in the US.
Congrats!! I’m so proud of the cookout !!! 🙌🏾
So well-spoken and well said. Congratulations, Xavier.
Why is it even a question about reverse racism? First it doesn’t exist. The fact that every other single season had a white alliance that was never said and then soon as my people do the same the say it racist cause they did it together and they did it the best!
Well said, and most deserved!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Love it also well said ❤️👏👍
Hes the first black male winner. Tamar won big brother too
Celebrity BB, there is a difference. Big difference.
congratulations well deserved, long over due, but glad it finally happened , i’m glad they was able to achieve it now we need more victories like this on other teams game shows , reality tv shows
Bravo!
Big Brother Canada 9 Said Hi! The First Ever Final Two Black Men! The First Real Black Winner Of Big Brother!
I live for that host 😂😂 he forsure one of us 😂
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Congrats
I definitely will be at the cookout
Good
It’s been on for 5000 years, how is this the first time a black person has won?
cause usually on previous seasons only 1-3 black ppl would be casted
He's actually the second black winner of big brother, Tamar Braxton won the celebrity edition in 2019. S/o to Xavier for making that clear.
Tamar Braxton is the first black winner of celebrity Big Brother.
Xavier is the 1st black winner of Big Brother. That’s the difference.
@@Aniboiii5600 yup. I'm not speaking to that distinction though, but the order of winners
@@ninetimesaday There is no "order" CBB and BB are two different shows. Tamar had her moment. She was the first to win CBB. This is Xavier's moment. He's the first to win BB. No need to compare the two. ✌️
@@Saffire1990 I said what I said but thanks for your input. Nothing wrong with correcting the record, Xavier himself even felt the need to do so. Big brother is one show with two divisions. ✌️
Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother are 2 completely different shows. X is the first black winner on the regular version of Big Brother. The celebrity version is much different!!
I like that he shouted out the Black winners on the other shows along with almost-winner Danielle Reyes. And now this year, we have our first Black woman winner, Taylor Hale!
Its 2021 and we are still seeing the first black. How far Amerikkka has come.
I like your name :)
Not 1, But 6 Black Winners of BB23.
glad he mentioned tychon tamar and danielle!
Xavier can beat Derrick in a Big Brother Champion of Champions
4th October 2021
Tamar Braxton was the first black winner. Yes, celebrity edition but still counts
Xander The Second Best Black Winner Of Big Brother! Hi Ty Form BBCAN9
What was the vote tally?
9-0
I quit watching years back because it was so racially biased. Many of these shows are that way, they don’t get my support.
You would think it would be more than just a 170 people 👍LIKE...
👠 This show has ran its course - enough already!! CBS/Big Brother execs were well aware of their "casting" in previous years, which (unfortunately) made it difficult for an African American to win (in the first place)! Casting 12-14 Caucasians to 1-2 blacks was biased from the get-go!!
Virtue signal much? cbs 🙄
Too much copium
You can tell Gayle doesn’t watch the show.
Im sure X isnt not really EXCITED 2 WIN, since the amount he WON, he prob gets that already for being a LAWYER..Just 2 get more Publicity
He had to pay his school debt and money for his nephew since his dad passed away recently
I Actually sense he was just starting out as well. He was still modeling in bartending.
@@shawnshawn6070 Im sure he was doing all that and thats how and why he got picked to play on BB..The CASTING now goes OUT and searches for peeps to play BB now days, like in there 20s and 30s and maybe 40s, just depends on the season..But, back in the earlier seasons when it was really ABOUT the GAME, people had 2 actually send in VIDEOS and be picked that way...Not be picked out by CASTING and then those peeps dont know anything about BB in the first place..Typical now days..Theres NO WOW anymore in BB, specially from someone whos been watching it since DAY ONE..:)

She won season 2 of Celebrity Big Brother and that is a completely separate show. It's a spin-off
Lmao. This sad pitiful show is still on?!
How much do they really keep of the prize money?
But his words, havent seen the check yet. Emm hmmm. Scam
Black Americans are taught to personally identify with being victims of racism on a daily basis. Congrats to this "1st Black" XYZ123... into Infinity.
Still waiting on a All White Alliance
You clearly never watched previous big brothers. Almost every season black players were evicted first.
I’ve never seen a blazoning racist that show turned into being. Holy crap. And the producers we ok with this. And didn’t call it out for what it was. Really racist. How pathetic were in 2021 and racist is at its best with some of the Black skinned communities. How sad. Disrespectful and really ugly the whole cook out alliance. That really suck to watch all this black people stoop so low . They became the racist racists .
Strong Disappointment coming from this way.
Black unity and Black pride is in no way similar to White Supremacy. We don't aim to be at the top of an imaginary hierarchy. We aim to support each other. Yet, every time we do, we are accused of "reverse discrimination." It's pathetic.
Really? If white people said the same things it would be seen as white supremacy.
@@jonfrom827 Yes because they have been doing it for hundreds of years. Relax.
🙌🏾 Say that again little louder for the ONES who can’t hear you in the back!
Well said!
@@Saffire1990 just because that WAS how things were, does not mean today is the same. Things have changed. And equality means equal. It does not mean that it is ok for one but not the other. Nothing but a bunch of racist hypocrites.
@@jonfrom827 exactly. Instead of equality, they just want everything switched instead of being equal.
Justice for Tamar.
Why does she need justice. She's still the first black person to win CBB. No one is taking that from her.
CBB is a spin-off! We count Tamar but she’s in the spin-off which they stay in the house for 3 weeks compared to 3 months
