Libera Me - With Alternative Ending

- The rising crescendo near the end in this version of Libera Me by Verdi is different to any version I can find on UA-cam. This was a 1989 performance which was broadcast on the radio shortly after. The performers on this piece are:
Soprano: Gabriela Benacková
Orchestra: Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra
Choirs: Gachinger Kantorei & Prague Philharmonic Choir
Conductor: Helmuth Rilling - Розваги
might this be the original libera me written for the projected rossini memorial mass in 1869 (never performed) but later incorporated with changes into his own requiem?
+TakaMurasaki Thanks for your comment.
Since I upload this video I have found out a little about it. This version can be found on the 2 disc CD called: Messa per Rossini (1989). The soprano is Gabriela Benacková. The orchestra is the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra with Gachinger Kantorei & Prague Philharmonic Choir. Helmuth Rilling is the conductor.
According to what I've found on the internet you are right about it being incorporated into Verdi's own "Messa da Requiem". However, I was interested in this particular performance of the piece as it was the first version I'd heard on the radio back in 1989. Consequently, this has become my favourite version.
+Geoff Thompson oh wow. i never knew that they actually recorded the rossini mass. learn something every day lol.
