Yes.
I give classes in psychology and for me the most important thing is to make them involving and interesting for the students. It’s not an easy task but it’s worth the effort!
All about setting the context and choosing lesson topics that are relevant to the students.
Very useful! I've known most of these teaching tools for some time, but I have to manage myself to put them in use!
Hi Gisele, I am an English teacher too.Can we talk over new techniques and methods in teaching? Which method do you use in your class?I use communicative method. all the best

Outstanding teaching methodology what will help me effectively in my classrooms from tomorrow. Thanks a lot.
what level students do you teach?
Definitely can be helpful to do a course on how to teach English. There's so much to know but a course like this can go a long way toward helping you know what to teach and how to do it.
Monitoring style is praiseworthy. I like it very much. I try to implement it enthusiastically but I face a challenge that is I conduct vey large class where more than 90 students are present. I divide them in several groups but it becomes very challengeable to manage the noise created then. Classroom is also congested. What can be done?
I totally loved and got you !! Thanks a lot
I have never taught anything in my life before but I want to volunteer in a homeless shelter where they give English classes and would like to see how I could help
It's very kind of you to do this.
Thanks Chris, at last I found your channel which I see it a very helpful one.

Hello. I am an English teacher. I work in a public primary school in Ecuador ( I am Ecuadorian). I need help because my students are too unruly. I work with 2nd and 3rd grade . There are about 30 students in each class. There are no resources in the school. The book we use is not good. What activities and strategies can I use? . I have used activities I have found on the internet. I use songs. But it is not enough. My students need more activities that engage them in the classroom. Please. Would you be so kind to help me with some advice and ideas. Thank you in advance
How is your teaching getting on?
I hope to hear from you soon.
I actually teach English communication to first and second year of high school. Before going to teach the first 10 or 15 minutes my students and I use to play bingo or pictionary. It sure helps me when I apply those games in the classroom.
so after that I can teach my English lessons and students still find it fun, although it doesn't always happen, but whether most of the school year.
If You like we can work together finding stimulating activities for our sds, at school You can use TPR and running to the board competitions are useful at any age
@@marcomanuel3108 thank you for your comment
@@jennysita555Thank you for your answer. My students are very unruly and noisy and the size of the classroom is not adequate for activites in which they have to move a lot. But if you have any ideas I would appreciate them a lot.: )
@@jennysita555 hi Jenny, i Will be very thank full if you cheer, More techniques of teaching.
I teach in another language. At that grade level... you can make it really fun. You don't need much. What you need is to find out what the students are interested in learning. Use things around them in their environment. For instance. Have them work in groups. They build a Monster. They label all the body parts. Write a story about the monster learning beginning, middle and end bridge words. They can make a presentation about their monster using benchmarks they need to hit so they know what you expect them to accomplish. Have them vote on a winner. Display that winner and teach them why that one monster was a winner. Did it have creativity, craftsmanship, was it functional, original? Them have them do a reflection on their own Monster. Make a connection to the real world. Otherwise...who cares about a stupid monster. But if the monster could solve a problem...etc. Also create daily routines. with music and words and hand movements. We use sign language. Then you can see who is participating.... You are not alone. Lots of cultures right now have discipline as something that is frowned upon. So you need to work within the framework you have been given. There will be those students who long for more. You are there to reach and teach them. :)
Being hired in Colombia to teach English, having never taught English, do you have websites, etc you can recommend for materials as well as learning how to teach?
@@markjones8676 Hi there ...the problem I guess I have is twofold: 1) I teach in a language that used to have nearly zero resources. But thanks to mass migration German as a second language is booming. 2) I don't know any English Language ones. There must be tons though!!!! I would check out Teachers Pay Teachers.com. Also, Edutopia magazine online. Look for pre-made tests to monitor student acquisition of the language. We need to make our own.:( But CA school districts have them already.
@@natashavandoren6262 Thank you for responding quickly.
@Sangin Ali Rasul Hi there. I don't think I can help you per se but I recommend a email newsletter called Edutopia. . . great ideas in there and best practices. Best of luck to you! Viel Glück!
Clearly you've never been to Northumberland. That's in England. I'm English and would need a phrasebook there.

How many teachers actually teach in a class room, I don't know any. I teach online as a native speaker and I am in very high demand. I want to get some training for teaching online yet it seems that the most popular teaching field is not covered by anyone. This is strange and I am one of over 20,000 in the same situation.
Hi, I am not an English native speaker but I want to teach English online. Could you please tell me how to do that?
Thanks your efforts I would like to expressed my gratitude.....

Is that online or on-site?
Nice. Info.
Nice video
Great video with a decent picture)
🥰 Thank you
But my question is, although a online setting would have a different environment and perhaps even different methods of teaching (due to the virtual aspect) couldn't it still be successful ?

Is there anyone who would like to teach English to Japanese students online? It does not matter if you are native or non-native English speaker. No need for a degree or any kind of certificate. All lessons are prepared in advance. For more info, reply to this comment.
Your metodologies might be 'tried and tested' but are they based on sound research and evidence?
Many of the points you highlight are at best assumptions of how to teach and have, indeed, been used for many decades.
Although they have been modified over time they are largely unchanged and do not address how languages are acquired.
oops. Last answer was for Fernanda
Because it was the enough time use to successfully completed time With LANGUAGE UNFORTUNATELY LIKE SOME More Information
Much as I wouldn't like to sound mean, I barely understand your sentence. Anyway, good luck first with learning more English and only then good luck with teaching it. I know, all roads lead to me sounding like a dick here, but it had to be pointed out that a certain level of English is necessary in order to teach it. I understand there may be different standards in different countries, but the TEFL course is designed to users with more or less native like English. My karma is certainly goin' down, but this ain't no Reddit.
If you have a gang of kids who do not want to learn you can chuck all of this out the window.
I am a children teacher too
Gud evng mam
Employers laugh at the TEFL certificate. I have never had one interviewer that took it seriously. They just say it's not real teaching and show you the door.
Students working together in a class ist not an effective method at all. Students evidently make mistakes, and you learn your partner's mistakes while working with him/her. It is an easy way for a teacher.

875(Islam )raised the status of women and addressed her with her humanity and principles, and equalized her with discourse and duties with men- Islam singled out women in the largest wall of the Noble Qur’an, Surat An-Nisa - and the Messenger Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, praised all those who honor women - and demanded Hellfire for those who wronged her and cursed- Islam guarantees a woman a decent life throughout her life through inheritance rights and requires spending on her father, husband, and brother - and her right to work that does not jeopardize her dignity- A woman in Islam feels psychological security and stability whenever her body recedes, unlike the woman in the West - at this stage, (mother) Islam is considered the most obligatory respect and appreciation for the mother from all society, especially from children and grandchildren- Gaining the love and approval of the mother represents a path to heaven, and her anger leads to fire in Islam, which is considered the mistress of the family, and everyone loves to win her love - from time to time you find all parties presenting her with gifts- There is nothing in the Muslim family that worries the West about the flight of children from homes - the process of abortion, suicide and the dispersal of the family, which has become a prominent feature in the West in a frightening and increasing manner, and in most countries that claim the freedom of women, especially in girls- The Muslim woman with her veil is the one who owns her freedom, so only the one she loves can see her beauty - unlike the Western woman, she does not have the freedom to control her beauty in front of the owners of sexual frenzy- This is an overview of the Muslim woman. As for the Western woman, and her suffering, it will be at an upcoming date, God willing
