Best footwear for gripping on slick wet rocks is anything with “Vibram” soles. They grip the best. They’re like the Zillas of soles. Shoes, boots, sandals, ( I’m not sure about crocs). Trust me on this one!

My only complaint with them is no sidewall traction to grab things like a zilla does…
