What I love most about this project is that it can be so many different designs. It looks great with just the wood pieces not painted, then painted. It looks great then with the tacks added. Well I have to give those sore thumbs a thumbs up for sure! I love, Love, LOVE this mirror!!!! I'm going to attempt this IF I can find supplies and after I get the Rose Petal one done. I had a bad fall while working on a DIY and I broke my foot, 4 toes, and did damage to my leg and knee. I've been in a lot of pain but I'm healing and going to get these mirrors done! YOU are soooo talented and my FAV Channel!!!

You're an amazing craftswoman! I think its great that you give commentary on why you do things a certain way, and show that you change techniques when things aren't working the way you hoped. Your explanations are clear and concise. You're very, very good at this.
I took on this project and I am so happy with it. I ran into some pitfalls but I made adjustments and it is better than perfect!! I wish I could post a picture. I didn't have a level surface and the corners of my blocks were bent down some so I had to come up with something to hide the miss alignment on the edges. I used golden wheat flowers from Michael's on each corner, using 3 branches on each corner. This provided a great look. When I glued the blocks to the frame some glue was visible so I had to hide that, so I took some bling and went around the inside corner of the frame. I changed it up a little bit. I broke the ends off of the thumb tacks and glued them in place using gorilla glue. After trying to push 3 thumb tacks in my thumbs called 9-1-1. I did use the glitter and the effect was beautiful. The final product is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful project.

this was so mesmerizing that I had to try out.I used copper color instead of gold and still turned out nice.I hammered the thumb tacks to bend the pin at the back and glued that on the craft.But it still looks good.You can see tiny tails behind the circle of thumb tacks.I dont know how to post picture in the comments.But Thanks so much for sharing this.My kids simply love this.
