    Very nice. I liked that there was a lot of "stuff" and variety, not just endless repetitions of the same hallway type. I also liked that the entity your protagonist encountered didn't seem like it was necessarily hostile, either.

    Very obscured footage. Definitely felt more realistic then most of them that are put out there. Definitely love the work put into this. Dedication is always key.

    Absolutely OUTSTANDING work on this Found Footage! The intro was POWERFUL. The door at the beginning really intensified the creepy factor, and then to see that amazing floral wallpaper with the random objects really gave that Backrooms Vibe! Loved how the Wonderer went to that curved wall, looked up to see an endless tunnel. Great reaction! The different environments, along with the randomly placed furniture, to that maze of concrete walls, to then face that horrifying entity was so well done! That last region before the tape ended was incredible! The way the environment phased to what it was once the door opened was so unique! Really hope to see another Found Footage soon! 10/10!

      Wow, thank you! These types of comments give me encouragement to keep going with these projects. But it sucks that they usually take 2 or 3 months to make. My computer is so slow to render these scenes. 😅

      @@TheAgentKnight You are very welcome! The rendering is a nightmare! I'm learning how to animate entities and backroom levels myself. I managed to get a powerful PC last year, so HOPING the rendering won't take ages. But creating everything takes AAAAAGES! But well worth it! Keep up the incredible work!

      Why does everyone in these backrooms videos misspell "wanderer"? I know it's a petty thing to point out, but its weird that I see at least two or three people EVERY video do this? Is it a thing specifically geared for backrooms videos? Is there a meaning to it? Or something else? The letter "o" and the letter "a" are nowhere near each other on any typical keyboards so it confuses the hell out of me.

    This turned out great! I love how detailed it is compared to other backrooms videos I've seen while also retaining that weird and uncanny ambiance that makes the backrooms so awesome in the first place. Nice job!

    It looks really great, but I have a little feedback if you don't mind. There are few things that hurt the immersion:
    - intense flickering of bottles at the very beginning (if intended, perhaps they should've rustled?),
    - checkered "missing texture" chair (it makes it look like a video game),
    - no baseboard on the walls (it's not mandatory, but walls look more realistic if it's either there, or wallpaper is imperfect on the bottom, or at least some dust...),
    - the lack of curiosity? the guy is in a weird place and won't even go through the cupboards and fridge?
    - flashlight is pixel-perfect aligned with screen space (it's assumed it's camera mounted, but it should've been off-center, due to thickness),
    - in the stone hall corner edges are ideally straight (it's made from stone bricks, edges should've been jagged)
    - even in stone halls where there no illumination, you can still hear lamp buzz. If it's microphone buzz, then maybe we shouldn't hear it when the camera is turned off
    - camera battery is separate from the torchlight battery?
    I gives the feels of video game, not a footage.

    Man, you were doing great until you brought the entity into view. Things like that are so much more frightening when theyre only hinted at, as we fear the unknown above all else.

    • @TheAgentKnight
      @TheAgentKnight  Рік тому +1

      Ah, yeah, but there's a reason why this entity is in the video, and yes, it has to do with the unknown. The entity wasn't trying to kill or chase, but it's controlled by something. I'm not going to go further into it because I want you guys to figure it out. But hey your criticism is good. I will think about it.

    • @cen7ury
      @cen7ury Рік тому

      @@TheAgentKnight fair enough, and at the end of the day it's your video, so you do you, but I feel like what you're trying to communicate would have probably been more effective if you hadn't been using a lot of the chase/kill tropes that have gotten a lot of airtime in other videos...like the clipped, oversized distorted vocalizations, and the incredibly aggressive movement towards the protagonist.
      Just sayin. These are all relatively minor nitpicks. Overall you did quite well on it.

  • @THATGuy5654

    Are you really expecting me to believe that that guy wouldn't have picked up at least one bottle as a weapon? I'd have put the camera down and dual wielded broken bottles. Probably wouldn't help me, but I would feel better.

    I feel that the VHS aesthetic became "canon" in order to hide the impractcality of modeling reality without ridiculous effort and attention to detail. I'm hopeful that the generation and exploration of liminal spaces has somewhere else to go.

      The VHS effect in my projects gives them a vibe that I like. Not having it just feels naked😂. Additionally, there's a lore purpose to it as well

    • @istankimjong-unbutcantstan3398

      I'm thinking that these "found" footage videos were "made" when people back in the 1970s and/or 1980s and even perhaps the 1990s got lost in this alternate reality and the footage is just being "found". A lot of the backrooms looks very much 1980s.
