Power and mic technique are closely related if you improve you mic technique (positioning/grip) you can improve your power. Although the best method is just directly working on power.

Why do you think Den always brings the mic to his nose when doing inward bass/voice switch? Why does NaPoM places his mic a bit to the right when doing liprolls? Simple, because some sounds are louder depending on placement. I'm not saying that's all he has to do. More than anything he has to work on his power by practicing, but mic technique is part of becoming cleaner/louder beatboxer on stage. That's just common sense.
