Thats actually a very solid tempo. Its 10.5 nps sextuplets and around 13.5 nps sixteenths which make you feel fast (and sound fast) whatever you play and are not within the crazy realm of super shredders.....

i wish phrygian rffing was longer ,dont like it when gose dm... great track tho
To me its the opposite, too much of a phrygian (the harmonic A scale) becomes not as cool after a while, its a great sound but in my opinion the middle should have a few extra bars of Dm so you can play the A aeolean mode (natural minor A scale) and stretch it out for some cool phrasing then come in with that eastern hijab sound which just rocks (i.e. i agree that "phrygian riffing" as you so aptly put it ROCKS ! :)

The second chord progression in the bridge which consists of the falling fifths kinda sounds like the pre-solo of Yngwie's "You Don't Remember, I'll Never Forget" half step up.
