CUSTOMER FROM DIMAPUR GETS SCAMMED BY e-COMMERCE GIANT FLIPKART

- In a bizarre incident, a person from Dimapur was scammed by e-commerce giant Flipkart. A video has gone viral on social media platform where one can clearly see how a customer from Dimapur got scammed by Flipkart company. The customer, Zachamo's actual product - an 'Electric Sewing Machine' was replaced by bricks. Speaking to NLTV, Zachamo informed that he had ordered a Electric Sewing Machine worth Rs. 21,000 from Flipkart on April 3. However, unfortunately when he opened the package which was delivered on April 14, all he could find inside the package are just bricks. The whole unboxing was captured on camera.
This incident has raised several questions over the customer service of Flipkart. When NLTV reached out to the delivery centre in Dimapur, they informed that they are just 3rd party delivery partner and are not authorised to open packages

I stopped shopping from flipkart from last year or so. Their anti customer approach like adding extra cost for smartphone purchases, the non existent customer support or difficult to reach a real person, extra cost for COD and not approving negative reviews have discouraged me from buying things from flipkart. But thankfully or luckily never got scammed like this

This happens from the outside office where the employees are working with scammers and that's how they scam the customer and send the parcel to Nagaland. The office branch in Nagaland n delivery boy is not at fault actually

I've also faced such situations, receiving duplicate/fake products from these online business, such cases should drag to the court!
This usually happens in the receiving and delivering spots. They swap the item for sometimes else. Same thing happened to me it was only a pair of headphones not an expensive item but the situation is getting out of hand nowadays

Check what’s written on the brick so that there can be a clue because there will be something written on the brick

Always open the parcel in front of the delivery guy and record the process if the amount is huge. Also don't blame the delivery guy because it's the third party doing. Our parcels are transferred from one place to another before it gets delivered to us
I would suggest.... Please pay cash on delivery and then open immediately infront of the delivery boy. I have been doing this and it has never happened to me. Therefore be shrewd and pay cash on delivery. My sound advice

It's either the seller, the delivery guy or while the item was bring delivered on the way. Flipkart is a Billion dollar company. They ain't got time for these petty thefts I think. They're getting their money from us and the seller anyways. Why would they do this to jeopardize their company?Doesn't make sense

This is not the first time , they usually sent different products to the customer, and the Dimapur Flipkart branch refuses to help their customers. I have deleted Flipkart apps after facing lots of problems..... Flipkart is the worst cheaters!!!!!

Just day before yesterday i received my laptop worth Rs.40k. But ya...we opened it in front of the delivery before giving the OTP....that's what flip cart says to do. It was prepaid as well.
Seller should be informed and send for refund. Seller can filed for his/delivery partners. My friend got a pack of wrecked clothes for her long awaited pants. We had a good laugh but could be returned with refund luckily.

I also faced the same thing thrice at Amazon and Flipkart too way back in 2014. Just ask the email of customer care and do the necessary things as directed by them. Your money will be refunded within 48 hrs. (Delivery boy laga kam ase) 😂

That's y it is clearly mention in the flipkart app that before you take the product,tell the delivery person to unboxing it then only u have to give the OTP. Feel so sorry for you.
Same thing happened with me the delivery boy replace the product without my permission and hence the company show no return for the product that too damaged product
Always check the review and ratings before buying anything from a seller.

Me too in the month of October I ordered a bed and by mistake I did double payment and I haven't received the refund till today. I have raised an issue on it but they said they will look to this matter but no response yet

I stopped flipkrt because of this . Amazon was my best option but this app is also not safe .Too many scammers and chors in the Amazon platform . They send wrong stuffs and also scam people 😢

Actually you have to file an FIR in nagaland itself.
It's not the fault of the company. It was done by some third party. First it was reached the product in guwahati and then only it was send to the neighbouring states and district. Hisghest chances to re-packached from guwahati.

Also some delivery guys do scam as well. Unpacked products, pack useless stuffs and get it delivered.

I had never been scammed by flipkart but this month the sellers r fk up and keeps sending me duplicate Bata shoe twice and m returning it tomorrow. Sometimes luck just doesn't LUCK.
