Charlotte, Below Knee BK amputee, takes off on running leg prosthesis

We had so much fun with Charlotte! It was her first time at POA and she was a little shy at first, but soon she was giggling with us and playing with her new friend, Kimberly. 🥰. Charlotte loved her new ✨glitter✨ walking leg, and really took off once we fit her with her first running blade! As she ran and played with her friend, Charlotte’s gait, which is somewhat restricted due to the scar tissue around her knee from her accident, improved quite a bit. “This is the best day, ever!,” she exclaimed as she and Kimberly ran around the fitting area, laughing (her laugh is infectious, by the way) and having fun!
