Thank you for the detailed description. Excellent piece and exquisite playing all the way through. P.S. that last stretch broke my fingers...mentally. haha. Stretches have recently become a huge challenge to me, so I felt how much effort must have gone into that 🙂
I have to say, a shorter scale makes a world of a difference when it comes to those stretches. This one has a 25” scale so pretty manageable, especially with a capo.
Thanks for the detailed description - the more I can appreciate the whole thing. Maybe for a musician it's a little bit frustrating to be cherished for a guitar presentation. But I love to see the end of a process, of feeling into the instrument, finding out the right piece of music, feeling the inspiriation going out from a piece of masterwork and showing us the particular qualities in a wide range. There are only a handful musicians worldwide, who do this with so much heartblood on this high musical level. Thanks for this wonderful piece of music on a fantastic guitar!
That process is my passion, so it means a lot to me when that is shared with others and even more when they are gracious with their feedback. Thank you Niko!
@@DustinFurlow Super jealous :) thank you for your response and beautiful playing. How would you compare this to Mark's bloodwood guitar you reviewed in 2021? particularly bloodwood vs brazilian tonewood difference
@@RickyPLopezMusic They are definitely more similar than they are different, Bloodwood is very dense and so it has much more of a rosewood behavior than softer tonewoods.

Beautiful sound. Sounds great Dustin, congrats. Brasil 2024❤
Nice to finally hear the guitar after seeing it on the AGF a while back! It certainly lives up to expectations too! Great playing!
It’s alive! Thanks Roscoe and hope you’re well.

You’d love this one, man. The behavior and sound are so much like that Swiss/Brazilian Doerr Mod D from awhile back. Mark knocked it out of the park.
Hatcher studio 2023!
The MFL episode will have roughly 5-7 different guitars from Mark, many of which you might recognize from there! Lots of editing 😅
Tablature available at www.dustinfurlow.com/guitar-tabs
Beautiful sound. Is this guitar available to buy? Don't see it on the Hatcher website
Mark actually built this guitar for me, I will be uploading some videos with it in the coming months, definitely my favorite guitar.
