Quality isn’t good on regular releases. Compared to the leather I created on my custom, there is no comparison. The leather is impeccable. The mess are just way mass produced. Quality control need to be improved. They are also not as comfortable. Just the hard truth

Love you JD, but trust me, if you think the quality of the GRs is bad, the quality of the By Yous is absolutely horrendous! Straight hard plastic 'leather', terrible sockliners and laces, just straight trash tbh. Out of 6 pairs I returned 5, I only kept a suede pair of the unlocked ones because the suede was just about passable (even if the sockliner was this weird plasticky mesh.) It's so strange as well, because the Dunk High By Yous are really good quality throughout, and are definitely better than the GRs. But those low By Yous are some of the worst materials I've ever seen on a shoe! Personally imo the outsole also has to match, the dunk/J1 looks whack to me when the midsole and outsole match - it needs the contrast. Was fortunate to cop these for retail, and will be keeping them in the collection ✌️

Crease protectors do help a bit, I tried them on my panda dunks
@@rafaelb702 yeah definitely I have Georgetown dunks and had to half size up for crease protector to feel comfortable. I use sole shields they are foam so it’s more comfortable after a couple months of wear and I’ll just take them out lol they start creasing either way lol

@@YulicXI they need to be worn in for sure. Good quality. Just a little bit more narrow then I’m used to on normal 1s. I’m actually wearing them Unlaced. I normally lace them up at the 8th eyelet, but these were almost painful the first few times wearing them. The insole is very comfy though.
