- In todays chivalry 2 video we are looking at patch 2.11 regicide the latest content update for chivalry 2. You have a new map the citadel where two VIPs face off as one king must die. You have the godendang a new weapon in the footman class. Along with many bug fixes and improvements. Here are the patch notes for chivalry 2.

Will this be the last true update for chivalry 2?
Without at least background mmr it will new players just don’t like the learning curve people say it’ll have long ques and split the community then y has every time people have said this in gaming it’s been wrong 😑 if you have a good game and the community isn’t growing then you NEED to open it up so it doesn’t End the game or studio either way having more people join and buy the bp gives them resources to make the game better and hire good devs
I think the dialogue between argon and malric implies that there might be one more final battle between whichever side won at the citadel and the tenosian horde

@@Just_Some_Clownlook I WILL BE HONEST. My war axe finds itself swinging into a teammates skull every now and then, there might be a curse on it. Definitely not the fact that when I'm playing Agatha and I see red I just start swinging, definitely not that.

I'm an absolute geek for obscure medieval weapons and I think they did the Goedendag justice. It's special attack basically one-shots horses which is exactly what the weapon was historically designed for--taking down charging horses with the spike and then bludgeoning the steel-clad knight with the top end.
I don't think this is the the final update but like the final battle to end the civil war. The final stage of the map, King Malric eve says the civil war is weakening them and Tenosian are the growing major threat. I think if there's a another update, it's going to be Tenosian heavy.

Yeah my guess is they tenosians are gonna get expanded to have other cultures included as a way to keep adding new flavors to the tenosians

It's funny, now that Malric is cornered, he's using the excuse of Tenosia invading to stop Argon II from killing him. Maybe if he didn't usurp the throne in the first place, Tenosia would be facing a united Agatha

The map is cool and all,but there is one thing that bugs me, there is no castle to fight in, i wished the battle would extend into having the two kings fight in the throne room instead of the court yard, which wont make much sense,but come on there is a giant castle you can see from a distance.
As i said map is still cool but it doesn't top thayic stronghold
Anyone else notice the slight rubberbanding? Its like whenever Im fighting one exact person they toggled a lagswitch or something and it suddenly becomes laggy to fight.
yeah in oce rn its non-stop. Nearly every server has it and has been ongoing for over a week now :(
@@poisenwhafflechicken I remember a votekick starting on some dude that had like over 100 ping on the server, then someone in chat said he was the reason for lag
@@superduper3722 yeah iv had a few of those too, i think that may reduce lag of some sort and an overall ping average maybe? But the stuttering is server based, it’s quite bad atm.

Just a shoutout of how good it is to see creators that genuinely cheer for the positives and don't just delve on negatives!
Map needs balancing as in attackers getting somekind of buffs and is good-looking. Although generally in other maps in public TO attackers rule most maps so maybe have one map where it isn't that cut-and-dry. Then again most maps favour defenders if they are playing competetively and with coordination. Objectives are bit bland but they do feel different compared to other maps.
If Malric heir survived then there will probably be more Mason vs Agatha update. I don't think they will kill off king Argon so soon .
I would love to see an uneasy alliance between the Masons and the Agathians to fend off the Tenosians, given the dialog between Malric and Argon. This could (hopefully) be a lead-in to Chivalry 3. It could be one of many excuses to keep the conflict going.
I’m liking the goedendag. It does a lot of damage and the only downside is that it’s small and slow. I’ve been doing quite well with it despite that
so many maps are insignificant in terms of story, they hopefully will keep updating the game even if only minor updates

When i was playing today, there was a moment where 4 enemies were together (hurt too much already) i got fire bomb in my hand, and when i threw it to get that clean quadra kill, teammate jumps infront of me and blocks the fire bomb...
Woooow. I literally typed this idea months and months ago about how cool it would be for vip vs vip fight. Super cool that they made something like that!!
it is just what game really needs, more diverse bosses with unique capabilities, and not just at the end of the TO.

Wow what a cool looking update haha I'm excited. It does feel very end of chapter though, especially with who the VIP vs VIPs are. I'm curious what's next because chivalry 2 is super fun haha, thanks for the video

I used to like Agatha but after hearing Malric talk to Argon I feel like Malric is the more sane of the two
i dont think its a huge 10/10 patch but its solid. which is more than what i expected of the patch!

I just reached lvl1k this past week, after 2 years of gameplay and this being my main game. (shoutout west coast)
As great as the mechanics in this game are, that drastically change the outcome of every single fight possibly imagineable, (1v1 2v1 6v1 etc.) Very dependant on your own skill and knowledge, which is fantastic.
I don't see the developers truly caring about their game. 2 updates a year? that come out with 1 map each time? Ridiculous.
I have so many ideas for game modes that would be incredible. There's so much to implement into the game, but I just don't see it happening, the player base drastically died down in 2023 & only seen a hiccup of newcomers since it became free, this update. Being that, we only see 2 updates a year.
Truly tragic, since I believe in all my 1.1k hours in this game to be some of the best gaming I've had since ever. Hard to say I want to even continue since there's so much bugs present. Matchmaking needs a ranking system in Arena mode(kinda too late though, since not much players in west coast servers queing up anymore). Blocks still get pierced through when I'm holding it down and clearly facing my enemy.
And a personal issue, ever since I've had the game, I get "matchmaking cancelled" shit and no matter what level I'm at, turns to lvl530 and when I go to restart my computer, I join back to "login error". Nothing seems to be able to fix this. It's literally, I have to wait a day & my game will decide to work. No matter how many times I restart my computer(troubleshooting too) lol. What sucks the most is when everything checks out, I play 1 match, the match ends and I get booted to the main menu at lvl530 and can't play for the rest of the night😂.
Cosmetics, we need MORE! HOW HARD IS THAT. (some chad drip for the lvl1k milestone, the current is pretty booboo)
Anyways, I'd like to see some gamemodes added:
64 player hunger games style FFA, (as peasants) all weapons in the middle, can even add rounds.
20v20v20 last team standing mode would be sick
5v1 Juggernaut arena gamemode (for chads like myself)
32v32 Last team standing mode, (just for the chaos)
etc.

I was going to go on Chivalry for an hour before bed last night, switched it on with my Xbox and needed a 8.4GB update. So I decided to download it while I watched TV for an hour instead, I'm looking forward to trying the new update tonight though.

I personally need more from Chivalry. If they’re putting an end to the Mason/Agatha Conflict, they need to make one last map that puts an end to the Tenosians.

Can you address them still not having voice chat in game even though it’s in the settings to toggle on and off. It’s ridiculous I’m not coming back/touching this game until there’s voice proximity
They are going to be adding more; listen to the back and forth between Malric and the counterfeit king during their duel.
I feel like they hinted at more Tenosia, and I think if they were to end chiv here, next game has to be Agatha vs Tenosia, with the Masons returning
“Agatha vs Tenosia” not Mason vs Tenosia…so is the cannon ending of this map Malric dies to Aragon?

@@Just_Some_Clown I think it makes sense for Malric to die because the Masons won the first chiv and now Agatha will win this one, but, since Tenosia is now involved, I think The next game will be heavy Tenosia vs Agatha with only the Masons returning with Malric's heir who I believe didnt die

Honestly hope they continue to add more weapons to the game. I know that may be far fetched but I really want to see the Flail added. I'm fasinated with Medieval weapons and wished there was way more.

I really hope this isnt the last update I'd hate for the game to end here bc first of all its just gonna die if it is the last update and second I feel like tenosia really isnt getting the opportunity to shine bc, lore wise at least, they are a pretty cool faction with a good story that can really be built well upon but I feel the lack of good maps and cosmetics makes people not really care about them which sucks.

The map is nice, cosmetics are fine, and the new weapon is meh. It’s a good ending I suppose. I just don’t get TB's overall goal. Do they just want to hurry and finish this game to move on? A roadmap would be great!
Got chivalry 2 for free on psn last year! I got hooked on it and still am. This update is a 10/10 and can't wait to see what they do next!
Personally I love chivalry 2 its by far my favorite medieval game out there and I want more updates but I'm kinda curious on what there plan is. Is there gonna be another chivalry game who knows. But i hope we still get updates.
I wouldn't say it's the best map but it's on up there. Lionspire is my favorite. Getting a lot of crashes on citadel. The new Highland Sword skins are badass. There's a bunch of good stuff in the regicide pack.
Idc what people think about the Highlander sword but it is my favorite to use and they needed to fix the stab on it and didn't love the update tho...
I wished the Last objective was picked by Top 3 each team. (1 king and 2 guards as like a 3v3)
Renowns servers are always empty but it had a very good foundation. Its still in pre alpha though
I wouldn’t really understand why this game would get a final update. Releasing a new game for chivalry entirely would take a lot of effort, they would probably continue the story within the game.

eh I dont really see a problem with buying bundles from the store if you enjoy the game. Rebel Knight does look sick and well, every gameplay related update has been free so I dont feel bad about buying the cosmetic stuff.

I was at the top of the leaderboard and spawned as Merric at the end of the match and instantly got kicked from the server so that kinda ruined it for me tbh

The update is awesome but if you play Agatha , you are one hundred percent most likely gonna Lose. The masons have a huge Advantage and plus even though this update looks flashy it still doesn't answer for soter dave.
I just wish theyd finally put this on sale on ps5. Played it on pc and now i wanna try on ps5. But its always 40€, thats way too much

Even now, maiden armor? So they really do hate the Mason footman, he has never gotten a single cool uniform. If this is the last update or not will depend on how many people buy the armor and battle passes.
They schould go more in Tenosia lore/content now

The new map is a weird one for me. Visually it's drop dead gorgeous, but the way it plays feels quite one sided and the objectives felt quite bland (Except for the attack their king and defend yours at the same time, I do like that one).
Thought the exact same thing. I've played about 15 games on Agatha I've only gotten past the break the gate phase twice, and I've won every Mason game effortlessly.
Haven’t tried the new weapon but the new map is not balanced at all😂😂 I played like 10 matches on it yesterday and I swear that the defense won every game. They need to make it so whichever vip has lower health loses because rn the defense wins by default if their vip doesn’t die

renown is not free. total castle loot is bullshit :( why chiv 2 don't just add houses and chance to get decoration to them in a battle, it would be almost action mmo, but also with more progression and relaxing time to spend in the game s well :(
