In the third and final part of POLITICAL AMBITIONS, the prospective MPS enter the fmal nail-biting days before the general election. For most of our hopefuls, the election pressure is really beginning to bite. Tory, PETER BONE is absolutely exhausted after several weeks of hard campaigning, whilst normally happy-go-lucky Labour man, PHIL McCAULEY, is showing the strain as the Boston election result is destined to be painfully close. Hard-working women, TERESA MAY and DIANA ORGAN are fighting for their place in Westminster right up to the last minute before polls close, whilst Bethnal Green and Bow’s Labour candidate, OONA KING coolly goes off to write her victory speech. Labour’s most loyal new girl, HELEN BRINTON asks local school kids to give three hearty cheers for Tony Blair, whilst Colchester’s Tory candidate, STEPHAN SHAKESPEARE has last-minute nerves as he pleads with the electorate to go out and vote.
