nope he isnt woke enough. he to much one white man side saying race isnt an issue its hardwork. BS black dude like him is what keep black people behind
I love Singletary but no. Neither he nor Butkus were better than Ray Lewis. They all have the same number of DPotY awards (two each) but Lewis has got better individual stats, more rings, more All Pros and more Pro Bowls than either of them.
@@JohnSmith-ls3um No question he's good but the elite middle linebackers in Singletary's day were numerous. (Jack Del Rio, Chris Spielman, Hardy Nickerson, Scott Studwell, just in the same division) In Lewis' time, look at the all-decade team, there's him and Urlacher and then it drops considerably and even then, many are not complete but more specialists.
Mike Singletary was one of the last great middle linebackers in NFL history. He came out of Baylor and the Cowboys Tom Landry passed on drafting him because he was only 6'-0."
if you're going to comment how easy it is to access, why not just explain? I assume i'll go to the channel and look for it but pay if forward. It cost nothing.
The last team Mike head coached went to the Super Bowl the next year if I'm not mistaken and he never got the credit for that...........it was the Super Bowl when the lights turned off and it was 2 brothers coaching against each other.
It was NOT called the "four-six" defense. It was the "forty-six" defense, named such by Buddy Ryan for Doug Plank's jersey number, 46. Ryan highly respected Plank's hard work and unquenchable enthusiasm for the game, which Ryan constantly tried to instill in his players. It was this attitude that made the 46 defense so effective and often feared by opponents.
I loved Singletary as a player but this is why superstars never make great coaches, they expect their superstar level of play out of everybody whether they are the 1st stringer of the 5th stringer, there's a reason why they are a back-up or a back-ups back-up..... not everyone can play to that level of play no matter how much and hard they work, superstars don't understand that. IF you look around football at the coaches, how of many of them actually played past high school much less started in the pros? The only one I can think of at the moment is Dan Campbell, and he was an average Tight End at best, Belechick was a back-up tight end at a Div III school, Andy Ried was a 3rd string Right Tackle in college and only got an offer to BYU because his childhood Best friend Randy Tidwell wouldn't go to BYU without him, Kyle Shanahan was a practice squad WR at Texas, John Harbaugh was a back-up linebacker at the U before they got good, and so on........
Why on earth would you end the video there?
That part.
So you’d watch the full video.
@@paulyguitary7651 So you'd watch the rest of the video in 3 minute clips with commercials.
I agree. It was just getting interesting and at a very important point and the video ends!
@@antoniodelrey164 Yep. No like from me.
That was a perfectly chosen cut away. Sarcasm.
I cant wait to see this full interview
It is already posted...search the channel

I really wanted and still want to see Mike coach again..phenomenal player and coach

His time has passed
One of the greatest NFL linebackers will never lower his standards in order to accommodate today's youngsters is why he'll stay retired.
2nd. Best middle linebacker ever behind Butkus.. period. !

This video ends in a weird place, but it’s worth watching the full interview. And it’s easy to access…

@@fierce-green-fire8887 Thank you ! ! !
Whoever edits these clips really knows what they are doing
Love Mike’s 🧦 s
Why did you end the video there?
If you're wondering what happened, Buddy Ryan sat him on the bench for the rest of the game.
Why draft ME? Because you're tired of LOSING!
Why the hell would you end the video in the middle of the story?
I was Subscribed....
Mike we seriously need a headcoach .
Must be a Cowboy fan.

I believe your off by a year or two bud but even that said a lot of that team he had his hands on…
i might be of by a year but you get my drift.@@fishinak4life828
I like me some mike
@@fishinak4life828 I think you are correct on the timing but
I love me Some Mike Singletary
He deserves no credit. He was a terrible coach that held the team back.
i am pissed, i will never watch this channel again
Good
Same
Don’t get pissed, re enlist 🤣

"I like this kind of party"......What a savage
Mike doesn’t look like he’s aged a day! I grew up watching The Samurai.
Best defenceman on the 85 Bears. ..
The bears haven’t won a super bowl since he left!
Captain of best 1 year defense in nfl history ,ne fan
Mike should be coaching somewhere now, how about Washington as the Linebackers Coach ?
Does Mike have two different colors socks?
I call that a pair. I do it all the time,as long it’s a pair,we good,don’t have to match.😳
It's not 2 or 3 z,it's 0 because they cut off the interview and I didn't even go to college .why did they cut off the video at that point.
Now i understand all the negative comments..
Oh yeah, that's why you do RADIO play by play for NFL TV 😂
Very dangerous looking dude
2Z... 3Z.... he called timeout.... AND???????
So what happened, what a way to end it
Poor edit of video, why did you end the video at that point.
He didn't have a mouth; he just kicked your ass. Mike.
Deleting this channel. End there?
He was like Pete Rose to me.. not alot physical ability but he knew how to play , smart , and hustle all the time. ! Tell me I'm. Wrong...
Really? Worst cliffhanger ever
Just because the interview stopped at a crucial point, I refuse to watch the whole one when it is posted. Do better.
Its actually 5-Z
why end it there !!! WTF

Watching this was a waste of time. Very poor editing.
The f**** why would you end it there?
Only Marino could ruin that perfect season. Not even Montana could.
Let him talk. I hate when people do this....interupt. Just let him talk.
I want winners!

The thumbnail had profanity in it. I didn't hear Mike Singletary use any cuss words.
The best part was coming up and the vid ends 👎
Make the point without being foul.
Joe Buck is crap. His dad was great. Singletary is just another way to say intense.
Huh!
As a player Mike was great. As a coach, not so much.
Incomplete
Yeah.
So was it 2 or 3 Z?? Joe Buck blows!!!
WTF?
Joe Buck has no business being in tv. I think he might have a brain injury.
Joe Buck has an enormous head. It's distracting.
They should have a man do the interview not stupid buck.
Probably one of the worse NFL coaches of all time.
But a great player. Ted Williams was a tremendous player, but couldn't manage either.
This video is worse than a high school girl at the drive in movies.
As a fan of the bears defense Singletary was over rated in my opinion. You had a dominant D-line. The bad asses were Otis and Wilbur.
As I recall, he was an on-field, vocal leader. Like a player/coach. And he was intense about it. He was “Samurai Mike.”
You could say the same about Ray Lewis.
Wtf. 👎 on this bull 💩 cut away
Terrible editing!!!! Fire the editor! You end the video w/o finishing the story??? #ThumbsDown
Good. I guess they don't want you to watch the whole interview on another video or anything 💀🙄. You took the bait and are mad lol
