Yay for a Q&A-video! Though my question may sound stupid, but my problem is that I never know how to pose or what to do with my hands when being photographed. Have you been taught how to stand/look/ what gestures to make, or did you try in front of a mirror, or...? I would be thankful for some hints. :-) You just look so natural, so at ease when you model those clothes. It amazes me to no end!

I've been considering alternative modelling as a potential future career, but my main thing is being able to support myself and not having to struggle for money. So my main questions is: Is alternative modelling a sustainable job on its own?
I don't know how people can say "you're not good enough" you have a beautiful body and your face is super pretty... how they can say that to you? if you were more thin you where underweight and unhealthy that's why industry of clothing sucks! and of course doesn't happen the same with many alternative brands

If you are going to do a modelling q&a, my questions are : what is your favorite style for photo-shoots? do you think there's an age limit for alternative modelling ? What are some qualities, in terms of looks and/or skills, that are important in alternative modeling ? What makes an alt. model stand out from the crowd? From your experience how are alternative models treating each other, they give each other support or they are hateful/jealous ? Any advice that can be applied to both beginners and experienced models ?
its really hard for me to get into Alt Modeling since im not the body type they want. I love that you're a mom too! my daughter's 3 :)
+Jesi GothicHippy You'll find that Alt Modelling allows for all body types :) Just build up a portfolio, and post regularly on social media, and you'll get noticed :) xx

I'd love to get into alternative modeling but I just don't know where to start. I'm pretty insecure and I hate taking 'normal' photos but when I'm dressed up (like with cosplay and such) it's fun bc it's not me. Right now I'm not able to look at myself as a piece of art but I'm thinking that maybe that'll change when I see myself like a piece of artwork like in a shoot. If that makes sense. I love photography and I love art and maybe modeling can also help me in a way

I loved alt modeling, though I don't do it anymore. I miss the swag, but most of all I miss connecting with artists/creators/photographers/etc. It's a lot of fun, if not very lucrative, LOL.

No requirements. Any body, any height, any weight, any body modification...I'm only 158cm tall, and the average model is 176cm tall
okay maybe that's something I should look into. When I actually have pennies in my pocket I'm gonna slay through Walmart in corsets

+tenille clandestine hi tenille, i cannot say that body does not change after having kids, it does, sometimes genetics does not help, and sometimes your metabolism become more slow, the point is, making some exercises, eating healthy (vegan, vegetarian or omnivore) and always love yourself... see your new body as any experience of life, bodies change, always do, and it will change with years is not the same at 20's that at 40's even if a person had no kids... (im a 2 years old kid mom who struggle with my body for two years now... but i learned to accept myself and be happy and i still trying to have a more healthy lifestyle) sorry for the huge message and i hope it helps you

did you vlog your tattoo time? i know over here my place wont allow vlogs because it means people will get in the way of the tattoo artist and because the space isnt large enough for vlogging
+DominosAndHearts The workplace health and safety laws in my state say that I can't clutter the work space, and I was unable to mount my camera on the wall. I wish I could have. I might try and book a night-sitting next time, so I can organise my equipment. I have 3 more sessions to go until my back is finished

+manga12 Well, I must say I appreciate it. And I agree with your statement. Its nice when people think I look nice, but there is a line where it can turn. I know people have a natural curiosity for people who are different, as I am myself, and that can sometimes mean questioning sexuality and fetishes. I am always happy to answer (to a degree) if approached appropriately.

Do you get paid for catalog photos? Here in Finland, nobody wants to pay models and the own all the rights to the images and all that.. it makes me mad! That's the main reason I don't do catalog shoots :/
+Making Hell I get paid :) There are many, many people/companies who want me to do it for free (so drive a couple hours, do my own makeup and hair, model for hours at a time) and then expect me to shout them out, make videos, and hand over all the rights to images and stuff. Its about knowing what your hard work is worth :)
