    Im glad to see the 250 getting some attention on youtube. Do you have a part number where you bought the wrap around hand guards?

      Thanks bro! I appreciate that. I ordered em from AOMC. I think the part number is "79602182044EB." Hope this helps! They honestly take a beating really well.

    Got a Rekluse Auto on my 07 KTM 300 XCW and like you I wasn't sure if I would like it, but after riding it for a while...I really do enjoy it. I planned on taking it off when I bought it, but it won me over. You're right though, stalling on a hill is a PITA especially if you can't get to a brake. I don't really have any plans on buying a new bike...but that 250 looks great! Great vid.

      @@urbexcross I love it. The low RPM torque is so nice for trail riding. Up a gear and just let it lug through just about anything. Of course, you can get it up into the power band and she'll rip your arms off. It's the year before E-start...but this thing starts third kick from dry&cold and first kick after that. Although, after a long day of riding...sometimes I really wish I had the easy button lol.

    Jd tuner made any diffenence? i own a EU bike and heared that EU bikes dont need it cause the y dotn have the restriction US bikes have. Any input on that?

    • @urbexcross
      @urbexcross  3 місяці тому

      Can't say for certain, reason being, when I bought the bike from the previous owner, the JD Tuner and exhaust was already there. I just put the FMF on. powerful for sure! hard to say compared to stock though. but as far as air box, I think the EU version is already perfect and not needing additional air box work. if you did put an exhaust end cap or a nee silencer, might need a tuner to make your air fuel mixture spot on. Yours a 250?

      @@urbexcross yes its 250. I bought it with fmf too. All my bikes was 250-300 2t and now i feel i need a little more power, especially on low rpms, thats why im searching. Will see. Thc for reply

    Hey, looking at one of these bikes. Quick question: How long does a top last? Thanks from New Zealand 🇳🇿

    • @urbexcross
      @urbexcross  3 місяці тому

      I don't have a definitive answer for certain, My bike is on the original top at 118 hours. runs like a champ. I have heard of people taking these bikes up to 250-500 hours on the original top. Best suggestion for longevity would be to keep it stock though, I believe. Once you start tinkering and modding, it might be a different number, more or less. But, I am not a mechanic. keep the air filter clear and oil changes every 15 hrs, and she should run strong for a very long while. Look up Brapping Kiwi. he took his 500 EXC-F literally around the world.
