My expertise comes from 35 years in the natural gas utility industry & I would like to go over some of the shortcomings in this video. #1 always contact your gas provider about your intentions of adding an extra gas load to the system. The gas utility or provider should conduct a load survey, evaluating the current system and providing you information about what is needed and their requirement #2 you're sizing information is correct if indeed the generator is on a home run and no other gas appliances are involved but in most cases other appliances may be involved & the longest run method will need to be used.#3 you installed the generator without a drip leg ( sediment trap ) which is required by the national gas fuel code, Massachusetts is probably the only state not requiring one and they are just plain wrong. Soap the nipple connection that's inaccessible due to the rear panel that is nearly impossible to remove. That skipped over installing that nipple.
