Hello Simon, truly incredible videos on your channel and I have learned much in the span of just a few short videos. It's hasn't been nearly as difficult to make a transition from percussion to violin playing with the aid of your videos! I am curious as to whether there are direct beginner violin videos that succeed videos 1 - 5 as I've looked into the playlists on your channel and can't find any definitive or recommended chronology to follow. Do you have a recommendation on the order of videos I should proceed to next?
Hi Simon. Do you have like a private online class maybe? I like the way you explain. I just re-learn violin again and I think I'd like to have some feedback and learning more stuff. Thank you :)
I am currently really busy until beginning of september, but after that I will set a reminder to add the possibility to book private lessons with me on violinshortcuts.com. I would be glad to welcome you as my first student! :) Are you interested in video exchange or live lessons?
Regarding Whole Step and Half Step, if I take the G Major Scale(starting G string as open string) , first half step will come between B and C Notes(3rd and 4th) on G string and 2nd half step will come between F(F#) and G Notes(7th and 8th) on D string and so on...Likewise in C Major Scale 1st half step will come between E and F Notes(3rd and 4th) on D string and 2nd half step will come between B and C Notes(7th and 8th notes) on A string and so on.. So the position of Notes for whole step and half step varies Scale to Scale and even there is common half step notes B and C found between Notes 3rd and 4th starting G Major scale and 7th and 8th starting C Major Scale Am I correct, Sir? Let me know regarding Violin Learning from begining i,e, seriality or chronology of your teaching on Videos in UA-cam. I am one of the sincere followers as student in your video teaching line in UA-cam. I am also very much interested to learn online violin from you through violinshortcuts.com
Thank you so much! In violinshortcuts.com I cover more advanced technical issues on the violin. At the moment I am working on a course on bow control (sound) and vibrato (more sound :). Regarding the scales, you are correct with your analysis! If you have a topic request on a beginner topic, please write a new comment, since I don't get notified for replies. :( Thank you!
Having violin lessons for over a year never told about reading the music. Thank you, brilliant teacher.
