The damage is a little cray for body shots but I hope it keeps its movement accuracy. Maybe slightly less body shot damage and a higher hs mult? Either way, I'll be happy with OP weapons on release. The deagles, light shotgun, and this weapon are all busted and I love it. I hope they power up many of the other options to a similar level.
I think it requires more finesse than that tho. The different weight classes should have different ttks, and at the moment it doesn't feel balanced to me at all.
Watching this I'm reminded of something... This.. This is what a legit skilled player gameplay looks like. No weird aim snapping at targets, no superhuman reaction time, recoil exists as it should.

My suggestion is to simply lower the body shot damage and put it into the HS mult to make it a head hunter weapon, high risk high reward good damage. My suggestion for an FCAR nerf when it was OP was to either make it do 24 damage instead of 25 OR slow the fire rate, but they instead made it a worse AK. GG
Medium just NEEDED this weapon for the longest of times. Let's be honest, medium is NO longer a healing bot. It is a proper class that has its place and value, and it's not just a SUPPORT. Right now we have FCAR, AKM and FAMAS, and all feel the same. The Model 1887 is the only weapon that feelt good. I hope the weapon will stay as it is, and it won't be given the revolver treatment.
@@LolRoboShotU hipfire is mid unless you're crouching. Ammo count, I agree if they keep the damage. If you notice my hipefire was only good during the crouch moments or if they were near point blank if not crouching. During the playtest I noticed regular hipfire running around was absolutely mid.

tbh i hope they keep the damage about in line but slow the rate of fire so you have to place your shots more carefully to get good dps. cutting 2 bullets out of the mag could do the same if that's not enough
2 bullets out the mag could be good. Imo, if the community wishes for a nerf I think the change that would be best would be to leave the mag alone for now, lower the body shot damage, and raise the headshot mult to compensate for the lower bodyshot damage. Make it a movement happy headhunter weapon.
Honestly, if Embark were to give us the update tomorrow, I would be the happiest person alive. Having weapons that are actually good make it to where all I want to use are these.
I've wanted 3 for cashout for the longest time but after playing it with 4 for so long, and understanding it's importance with there being 2 vaults, I'm going to say that 1 team will constantly be getting free cashouts in virtually every game, leading to boring gameplay. Yes if an attacking team dies, they'll spawn closer to the other team who was geting a free cashout, but throughout the match this won't always be the case. I do believe that while a good change to reduce the insanity that is 3 teams on one box, due to the boxes being so far apart, it's going to slow it down drastically. I'm not 100% sure about this working. But I'm here for it. I hope it doesn't turn out this way. I think that they should just reduce spawn time to be completely honest. This would speed up the interactions on both boxes. I believe this is the clean solution to this problem.
@@datnamedoh4877 Personally, I hated the mode for being 3 3v3's. It felt empty and kinda boring. Even with sped up spawns, it would feel empty and boring. Like the maps were too big for the number of players present. In fact, it only made third partying easier imo.
Not a bad thing tbh. All guns should feel strong, and all melee should be too. Everything should have power and strength and a good skill curve to keep it all interesting.
What's sad is the movement specializations are so damn bad at a competitive level on light. The only viable specialization is invis. You can't really reliably be a good movement player on light as the specializations just are too bad in their current state.
Medium has zipline and jumppad, and there is a lot of potential for movement with those gadgets. And the best part about it is, the whole team can benefit. Compared to a light with a grapple, that just grapples away as soon as the ground gets hot and leaves his team alone. Medium is the better movement class imo.
what if they made demat work like a lightsaber, where you can use it to draw or "cut" a hole into walls, and the more you draw the more charge it uses?
@@danielg5784 I dont see it as a revolver competitor, more so a LH1 competitor. The LH1 has a more similar recoil pattern, RPM, mag size, range & dmg per shot, but the LH1 takes 4 shots to kill a light, 6 to kill a medium and 8 for heavy vs 3, 5 and 6 with the Pike.
Heavy with Sledge has been my main for long time, but with this weapon coming out, i feel it's time to switch from melee. Hopefully the Deagles can compete against this in close combat. Or even the M60. I read that the fire rate and recoil got improved on it. S4 hype!
The hipfire accuracy really isn't that strong. Further testing might be needed BUT from my experience, in most situations it was mid. However, if you look in a lot of my footage, the hipfire is very accurate when crouching, which I end up doing a lot to test the hipfire, and the crouch hipfire is very good. I don't think they need to nerf the crouch hipfire. If they do anything to it, which I wouldn't be against in the slightest, is to reprioritize the damage. And what I mean by that is, make it do less damage to the body, and more to the head. I would love for this to be a movement happy head hunting weapon where the priority is in hitting headshots.

I came to the finals from titanfall and the sr 84 just doesn’t have the same potential as the kraber did so had to run lh1 (it is like the g2) but I don’t like light to much so this will be nice (I main medium)
Ive used one for approx. 400 hours playtime, nothing bad ever happened - even when sending clips to support where its painfully obvious that im using a 3rd party crosshair. No one cares about it lmao

It is going to happen the same as FCAR. Before FCAR was 21 bullets with strong demage but punishing if you did not have good aim. You needed hit shots. Now FCAR has 26 bullets - some like this, do not remember, but is so weak, pure garbage

If this game is to survive, the guns need to feel good. Crippling this gun will just lead us right back into shotgun meta. Ranged weapons should, and must for the health of this game, remain powerful and viable. Is the gun overturned? A bit, yeah. But let it be OP for a bit. Then reign it in reasonably without giving it the FCAR treatment and just obliterating the gun.

@@15apocalypto There were not a lot of articles, there is 1 vague discord post from the devs. People have been using them since launch, some not even for accessibility like myself, and they're all still around unbanned. If they were illegal, and Embark knows I use it, I wouldn't have been able to get in the preview. That being said, if S4 is bringing static crosshairs that aren't ableist in design and that are actually decent in S4, so there won't be any need for a crosshair overlay tbh. And even if one chooses to use one anyway, as long as they're not using it to gain an advantage, one should be fine.

Practice. Also learning slide hopping, from my movement guide. You can realistically skip until the keybinds AND the slide hopping section.

I came to the finals from titanfall and the sr 84 just doesn’t have the same potential as the kraber did so had to run lh1 (it is like the g2) but I don’t like light to much so this will be nice (I main medium)
You'll definitely like this weapon if it releases like this. It's such a versatile and good weapon.

Ive used one for approx. 400 hours playtime, nothing bad ever happened - even when sending clips to support where its painfully obvious that im using a 3rd party crosshair. No one cares about it lmao
Ive using crosshairx, once, then i cant start the game, it says, U will be banned from using 3rd party app for violating the game rules.

@@puregreatness2331 Hopefully the meta shifts. And personally, I do believe it most likely will because many of the ranged weapons are the focus for buffs. The new weapons + plus the buffs for the existing ranged arsenal should hopefully take us out of the shotgun meta we're experiencing.
It is going to happen the same as FCAR. Before FCAR was 21 bullets with strong demage but punishing if you did not have good aim. You needed hit shots.
Now FCAR has 26 bullets - some like this, do not remember, but is so weak, pure garbage

If this game is to survive, the guns need to feel good. Crippling this gun will just lead us right back into shotgun meta. Ranged weapons should, and must for the health of this game, remain powerful and viable.
Is the gun overturned? A bit, yeah. But let it be OP for a bit. Then reign it in reasonably without giving it the FCAR treatment and just obliterating the gun.
It needs a hip fire nerf.
@@z363652798 it really doesn't imo. The hipfire isn't that accurate for range, just up close and you have to abuse crouching a lot, as well.

They are very strong actually, and fairly accurate. When you try them out, I'm sure you'll see.

The revolver is mid, and is has been mid since release. Makes me sad too. I love revolvers in games.

You cannot argue the fact it has the fastest time to kill in the Game. but its unforgiving, so dont call yourself an aimer If its too hard for you. And If you say the top 10 or top 20 dont use it, Well its because they are Not good. A perfect AI would choose the Revolver on medium because the ceiling is the highest. Pls Stop coping UA-camr

I think the light class should have this weapon instead of medium due to medium having more hp. Give md the LH1 since its harder to control but still hits like a truck if you're accurate.
With light having Invincible cloak, then its not good, imagine sniping undetected. Without losing aim target.
Why though, Lh1 hits like a truck already and Lh1 will get a scope now. Lights not missing out on anything here

Not at all. Though it might need minor tweaks. I'd say, lower the bodyshot damage and raise the hs mult to compensate, focus it into a headhunter movement weapon.

@@SanguineNightsTV really? I'm playing since s1 and custom crosshairs have been banned from the beginning, there were a lot of articles back then saying a custom crosshair is an advantage and it's not allowed
@@15apocalypto There were not a lot of articles, there is 1 vague discord post from the devs. People have been using them since launch, some not even for accessibility like myself, and they're all still around unbanned. If they were illegal, and Embark knows I use it, I wouldn't have been able to get in the preview.
That being said, if S4 is bringing static crosshairs that aren't ableist in design and that are actually decent in S4, so there won't be any need for a crosshair overlay tbh. And even if one chooses to use one anyway, as long as they're not using it to gain an advantage, one should be fine.

I can't stand the delta style reticle that they use on every sight in this game, that reticle shape just breaks my brain for some reason and I can't track with it. Really annoying that they choose THAT for all their reticles :(
