As a 58 year old single man this frightens me. Our sisters bought in to the delusion of feminism! This has destroyed our black families. I can remember my ex-wife telling me my mother was a fool, that she stayed married to my father because she had no other choice. My ex is a highly educated, single woman with two sons by two different men, doomed to be alone!

Rivah, to tell you how valuable these skills used to be, my grandmother went to COLLEGE and received a BACHELOR'S DEGREE in HOME ECONOMICS, which allowed her to not only have those skills for her own family, but also to become a teacher (where she taught English, and home economics for almost 40yrs). I ended up going to the same college as my grandmother, which is now a major university. Shortly before I got there, the building that used to be the Home Economics Building had been completely demolished and replaced. The reason that's significant is because there are buildings on campus that are substantially older, and were in worse condition that have been left alone.

I was raised by a single mother and I have my father in my life, but I got lucky to have a village raising me and I seen marriage with my grandparents my grandmother cooked and cleaned the house while working, and my grandfather worked while being head of the house! Although I love and appreciate but being the child of a single parent is miserable and can be lonely but it help me be more independent and mature, however at least my mother didn’t have another kid as she didn’t have a husband. Even if a man is a provider, today’s women believe the man should still serve the woman. You should go out and work to pay for every single bill and still come home and do a bunch of chores and then service her needs. The feminist movement, it does not apply to Black women nor is it conducive to the black family structure. That is white women's fight with her man. Black men and women have been side by side since we were taken from the shores of Africa. There is no point in American history where the Black man has ever limited or forbidden Black women voice her opinions and/or work. Since the 60s sexual revolution that happened and the invention of "birth control" women have been "freed" from the consequences of sex. Now add in the fact the government has given women incentives to have children and keep men out of the homes we start our collective decline. We need to rise above our egos and realize we are in the trenches together. Notice no other group of women promotes the narrative of being strong, independent, and not needing a man. This is only done to Black women. This is by design and its time to break the mold. The false narrative of Black women being the most educated. Blacks only make up 12 to 13% of the American population and half of that are women. So only 6 to 7%of Black women are college educated. This is commonly used to make Black women feel like the black man is less than and to further divide the community. Yes there are a lot of Black women in college, but they are not the most educated. The numbers just don't add up. Let's get back to the state of Black love and unity we had in the early 60s and late 50s. Let's embrace our natural self instead of conforming to European standards of beauty. Black women get so much push back for this because your natural state is the only thing they can't copy and the opposition knows this. That's why they spend billions in propaganda to make you hate yourself.

I wake up at 6am to help my man get ready to go to work and see him off, make my son breakfast and get him good or ready ready school during school. I get him his liquor and set the TV up for him to play his game. We watch K.S, Mediocre tutorial and poor man's podcast together and have discussions about it while he playa the game, I get dinner ready, get my son ready for bed then ask my man if he wants any nooky ...this is not slavery to me its taking care of my home.

And again, he is getting nothing in exchange for this and can be put in jail if he doesn't pay or loses his job. As Men and Women are truly slaves to our own decisions whether good or bad. But how are Women being treated as slaves? And if a woman was treated like a slave, how is she able to speak? Where can she run? Why does she still have a tongue? Slavery is much, much worse than marriage and that's the modern version of it. There are people today being sold in to slavery, and they have absolutely no choice or voice. I was raised by a single mother and I have my father in my life, but I got lucky to have a village raising me and I seen marriage with my grandparents my grandmother cooked and cleaned the house while working, and my grandfather worked while being head of the house! Although I love and appreciate but being the child of a single parent is miserable and can be lonely but it help me be more independent and mature, however at least my mother didn’t have another kid as she didn’t have a husband. Kids are not easy! This woman is ignorant thinking a man would keep her for sitting on her ass all day, back than being wife and mother is an honor to have! What happened!? SMDH!

The feminist movement, it does not apply to Black women nor is it conducive to the black family structure. That is white women's fight with her man. Black men and women have been side by side since we were taken from the shores of Africa. There is no point in American history where the Black man has ever limited or forbidden Black women voice her opinions and/or work. Since the 60s sexual revolution that happened and the invention of "birth control" women have been "freed" from the consequences of sex. Now add in the fact the government has given women incentives to have children and keep men out of the homes we start our collective decline. We need to rise above our egos and realize we are in the trenches together. Notice no other group of women promotes the narrative of being strong, independent, and not needing a man. This is only done to Black women. This is by design and its time to break the mold. The false narrative of Black women being the most educated. Blacks only make up 12 to 13% of the American population and half of that are women. So only 6 to 7%of Black women are college educated. This is commonly used to make Black women feel like the black man is less than and to further divide the community. Yes there are a lot of Black women in college, but they are not the most educated. The numbers just don't add up. Let's get back to the state of Black love and unity we had in the early 60s and late 50s. Let's embrace our natural self instead of conforming to European standards of beauty. Black women get so much push back for this because your natural state is the only thing they can't copy and the opposition knows this. That's why they spend billions in propaganda to make you hate yourself.

As a high value married man with sons, I am beginning to get really scared about what's available to them. Some women are just so confused. Much of what they say is completely thoughtless and baseless. Counseling and some sort of communication mentorship is so necessary. Personally, it saddens me on two fronts. I wake up at 6am to help my man get ready to go to work and see him off, make my son breakfast and get him good or ready ready school during school. Throughout the day I pick up and serve meals and clean up any mess left by my son. I always make sure the house is clean, smelling good and candles lit when my man comes home. I get him his liquor and set the TV up for him to play his game. We watch K.S, Mediocre tutorial and poor man's podcast together and have discussions about it while he playa the game, I get dinner ready, get my son ready for bed then ask my man if he wants any nooky ...this is not slavery to me its taking care of my home.

Which sounds more like a slave:
(1) A man and a woman married. Man works and the wife takes care of the home.
(2) Single Woman that pays for everything herself.
(3) Single Mother that does not hold the Baby Daddy accountable, or he doesn't have the ability to be accountable, and she pays for everything herself. She also has to take care of the kids and find a babysitter when she wants to do anything to relieve stress. She has no shoulder to lean on except her own.
(4) Man marries an unpleasable woman. He works full time, cooks, cleans, fixes the house, pays for wife's education, pays for wife to go on trips, and still listens to his wife complain about her not being happy and him not spending enough quality time with her. She divorces him; takes half of his resources and does nothing in return for the man paying 50% alimony "and" then he has to pay child support on top of half of his pay. And again, he is getting nothing in exchange for this and can be put in jail if he doesn't pay or loses his job.
As Men and Women are truly slaves to our own decisions whether good or bad. But how are Women being treated as slaves? And if a woman was treated like a slave, how is she able to speak? Where can she run? Why does she still have a tongue? Slavery is much, much worse than marriage and that's the modern version of it. There are people today being sold in to slavery, and they have absolutely no choice or voice. Unless someone notices it and reports it to the police.
And for option (4); how many women have actually done this for their Man (Husband)?
