don't stress it. Face blindness, particularly Asian face blindness is common in westerners who are not used to telling them apart. It gets better with more exposure to different cultures. You're doing great. It takes a bit to get them down

(It’s pronounced as the letters as they sound in english) the other main vocalist’s name is Seungmin (easiest way to describe how it’s pronounced is like “sung-min”). First syllable is said like “Sung” pronounced like the past-tense version of “sing”…With the “u” pronounced the same way as when you say “sup” or “cousin” … like “uhh” The one at the beginning with pink hair was Hyunjin (easiest way to describe how it’s pronounced is “he-yun jin” except it’s a two syllable name so “he-yun” should be said as one syllable). Same “uhh” pronunciation for the “u” in the name, like Seungmin. (Someone once said that they would think of the words “he young/yung” and just drop the “g” and just say it fast lol). He is the one who does some of the deeper vocals and also raps. He is also one of the main dancers and visuals. Felix (“feel-ix”) is easily recognizable with his voice/face and is also a main dancer. Then there’s Bang Chan aka Chan (Chris is also his English name). The pronunciation for his last name is closer to “baa” (like the sound a sheep makes) and you should use the same “a” sound for the pronunciation of his first name “Chan”(btw last names go before first names in Korea). Changbin and Han also use the same “aah” sound that is used in Chan’s name. Think of the “a” sound that is used in that song “baa, baa, black sheep” or the word “aw” or “bar” or “bark” So Han would be “hah-n” (one syllable) Changbin would be “chah-ng bin” (two syllables) Lee Know-(his last name is Lee and first name is Minho, so he made his stage name Lee Know) it’s pronounced in English the way it looks. They say their names to each other a lot more and by hearing them over and over it was much easier to pronounce. I’m see through and I haven’t got non Anglo bone in my body but I eventually got them all correct. Most stays take 5-10 business days to get them and their faces correct. We immersed ourselves into a different culture and language so it’s ok if it takes some time to get everything correct. The fact you are trying is good enough for us. I can see the joy that stray kids brings you which is why I subscribed it’s fun watching it happen the same way it did for me, to someone else. As a STAY (and I’m sure every other reasonable STAY) just like that you are excited and you are trying. That’s what stray kids are for, no matter what language we speak, no matter where we grew up, Stray Kids are for everyone, they make their music so even if you don’t speak the language you can still feel the emotion of the song. Stray kids everywhere all around the world!

Take your time and just enjoy. Don't know how much you know about KPOP but once you get down that Rabbit Hole there's no way out. It's not only about SKZ there's others as well that are different but as good as them in my opinion. If you explore more you will find greatness in each of them. Kpop is more than bands or groups. It's so much more. It's not only about songs and MV and Concert. It's about all music genre. And They do so many things that it's hard to keep track sometime. SKZ have they own games and a show called CODE and they are hilarious. You will get to know them personally if you watch it. S. Korea also do some games and competition among groups. From "olympic" challenge to stage performances. Korea is a world of their own and it's up to you to discover them.
Majority of STAY are warm, welcoming, and kind, but we're getting so big the rude people are popping up more and it's just not the vibe. Peace to the haters, youre doing great, just keep doing you and having fun.

you're doing so well! the improvement in recognizing them by face and voice is so clear. anyone who gets on you for not knowing their names or faces is probably just way too in their feelings about their bias. keep up the good work! i know others have left helpful comments, but i'm gonna do this anyway. some pronunciations tips lee know, han, felix and I.N. are probably the easiest. bang chan: "bang" like the sound effect. bang! chan like Jackie Chan, not chin. chang-bin (loud rapper): "chang" is a little tough to get perfectly accurate. saying it like "chan" is okay, but the "a" is a bit of a longer sound. maybe closer to the a in "dark". " "bin" like toss it in the bin. changbin. hyun-jin (the one who's not felix 😂): "hyun" like "hun" with a little y in there. (like combining yuh and hun. hYun). "jin" like gin and tonic. hyunjin seung-min: a little tougher than the others but technically you did say the vowel sound. it's "soong". "oo" like "good" or "full", not "move". "min" like "minute". seungmin. you really are doing so well considering where you started. a lot of us who caught on faster are already familiar with korean media through kdramas or kpop. so even though we might not speak the language, we have an idea of how things are pronounced. you're starting with a blank slate, so it'll take you a while, but i personally think you're learning quickly. (back door is one of the best songs to troll people on honestly. it's basically about them inviting the people who get them to come party with them, while mocking people who think they're "too much". another song like that is "cheese".)
I can't stand when "fans" do that to new fans. Like we all haven't been there at one point. It took me a little while at the beginning to tell I.N and Lee Know apart, which I learned later was common. And to be fair, when Hyunjin and Felix were both rocking the blond I would have to double take sometimes. Plus these boys change their hair so often it does make it challenging for those of us just discovering them. It comes down to mannerisms, movement and finding that distinct feature! Okay. Let me tell you something very important right now. K-pop has a lot of toxic "fans" sadly. The best way to deal with haters is to ignore them. I know cause I've been into K-pop for 8 years now, so I've seen a lot. The real fans will always help and understand, unless you're being offensive, but you're clearly not, you're trying to learn as we all once did. Hey, at first I was mixing people up too, I remember confusing Han with Changbin all the time. Now, I can recognize them by their ears XD. You're doing better than me at first in my opinion, you got Chan, I.N and Seungmin right! My tip is if you find it hard to remember full names, try nicknames first, like for Seungmin you could call him "Min" for short, until you memorize it.
