The arrangement is beautifully written - it's a very moving arrangement. Bravo. I have heard this many times and still get goose bumps. Fabulous choir, fabulous orchestra and band - and the three tenors rock!
😢😢😢😢 The thoughts come rushing when I listen to this hymn, I sang it the day I felt it in my heart that it was the last day I saw my mother alive in that hospital bed. At night, I prayed to God to do His will, the following day at 04:30 got a call from the hospital that she has passed on around 03:55

An amazing hymn written by Horatio Spafford in 1873 after he lost his precious four daughters when two ships collided in the Atlantic Ocean while the mother & children were sailing from America to England. This story was included in "Al Smith's Treasury of hymn histories" by Alfred B Smith" (book no longer in print but some people have been able to find a copy at rummage sales, etc.)
This song background has a very tragic historic, however it is always encouraged me to stand strong and sing It Is Well with My Soul. Praise Jesus The Lord.
There is an extended version that shows the behind the scenes and connects the performance to the original hymnist whose granddaughter is shown in the crowd with the producer.
