Dynast my Sierra Leonean brother , thanks for all your of efforts in promoting Africa , especially one of your ancestral homes Sierra Leone to the world , shedding light on the mostly negative narratives from the western media about the motherland. Keep up the good work bruh . You and the other brothers sisters enjoy the cassava bread and fried fish.
Wow..snapperfish with cassava bread...aka bammy. Eaten just like in jamaica. In a city called port royal. Incredible how our cuisine is still very..African Jah bless .our home Africa.
The Jamaican Maroons in Sierra Leone were a group of just under 600 Jamaican Maroons from Cudjoe's Town, the largest of the five maroon towns in Jamaica, who were deported by British forces following the Second Maroon War in 1796, first to Nova Scotia. Four years later in 1800, they were transported to Sierra Leone
Actually the Maroons from Jamaica introduced cassava bread to Sierra Leone. One of the groups that make up the Krios in Sierra Leone. I'm longing for some right now. Served with fish and some kind of sauce made with palm kernel oil. Mmm!! Mmm!! Mmm! Very good.
Proud of you young brothers making the connections. Good work bridging the gaps finding what is good about Africa. Smart using today's tools to educate our people. You are doing the work.
Hey Dynast Everything is so good and I am glad that you took this group to Africa . Most of them , this will be their first trip to the continent & Sierra Leone , in particular .Being in the motherland will definitely be an enjoyable for all .. your Geechee - gullah - AKA sister temporarily residing in New York. ..😚😚😚
Brother Dynast love your channel...I took one of those dna/ancestry test and I'm 46.9% Nigerian and 38.4% Sierra Leonean and I'm Jamaican born 🇯🇲came to the states at age 7 so I'm taking this all in because I will visit one day...that food look good wish i was there with y'all...One Love Light ❤🖤💚
Sierra Leone must invest more in tourism. It will attract more tourists from around the world and it helps the economy. Thank you brother Dynast for doing this.
Love your work Dynasty, but no way do I believe that these African Americans made it through their trip without serious gastrointestinal upset while eating so much street food. But. It was probably good eating.
lol they don’t know AA are serious about people washing hands their when handling food. I cook in the States when I get to a new location AA watch me to see if I wash my hands before ordering from me. Sis got her money tho and the people really enjoyed her food ❤️
This is not only AA, I am West African and yes I eat street food when I travel back home and usually they are hygienic when handing the food. I know it's not easy being a street seller in that burning sun, but it was quite inappropriate how she handled the food
You just add recipe on my happy hour menu you guys enjoy your stay in our country get some business ideas to improve the country you know you can't find a job there but you can create your own business
I hope Nigeria government will pull all Nigerians companies in ungrateful little poor Ghana and relocate them to friendly countries like Sierra Leone, Liberia, Gambia to help them develop fast.
