Oh yes the final battle in the game I remember this so well to the point it give me nightmares. Hearing the dodge sound effect make me jump sometimes. Back in the day when video games were so hard that it will take damn near half a year to beat it.😂😂

Something tells me not once did you press L1 or L2 which activates the spider-sense/slow motion ability, it makes fights a lot easier and a big red circle passes by on screen indicating the perfect time to dodge away from attacks.
I did I just cut it out ! In retrospect I def should’ve utilized it more and got good with it.
I also had to quit the game for a while after the doc ock generator boss fights

I know it was a 2-second portion of the video, but Tak and the Power of Juju was a game *before* it was a TV show!
Oh wow I actually didn’t know that! So did they make the game in preparation for the show or did they make the show because of the video game?
I don’t really know if the tv show was planned from the get go or not. all I know is that they completely fucked it up and made a shitty unfaithful adaptation of tak that no one liked. It instantly killed the series and has been dead ever since. At least the original trilogy of games ended on a happy conclusive note before the ip shit itself.
If they did it right tak could have easily been another epic Avatar the last airbender type show for Nickelodeon

I mean tak was never as serious as ATLA. But it still had the epic adventure feeling with a breathtaking world to explore with some decent world building that could have easily been used to set up a lighthearted yet epic adventure series with a continuous storyline between episodes. Instead they made a stupid generic episodic nothingburger. There was so much potential. Literally all they had to do was make another story like tak 2 and make it a tv show. Or maybe even just a movie special or something.

My friends and I in 2016 were really hype for the Spider-Man ps4 game. We got my ps2 out and we sat and played every single Spider-Man PS2 game. I love this game the most in the open world, but fuCK beating this games missions. We ended up loving I think Ultimate the most. I think it used this engine but it was nice to play venom and other things
I’ve actually never played Ultimate but I want to really bad it looks so fun. That’s a really cool memory with you and your friends though I love that haha

I played through this game like 3 years ago and I remember using the action replay cheat on the final boss so I would have infinite health lol. So yeah I get why you raged over it so much.

yeahhhhhh, you don't have to get the hero points first thankfully and to make it less of a hassle the main objective for each chapter gives you a lot of hero points so that getting to the next chapter doesn't take as long.

@@crownedvendetta oh of course. but i felt it was kinda eh after youve completed everything 100 percent since all you did afterwards was 3 different crimes. i likes how spider man 2 didnt have you just stop crimes. you saved people by picking them up or stopping them from falling. usually when you saved people in 2018 it was a one time mission that wouldnt be post game shindigs or in missions, i want to try the second game since ive seen that its a very fun looking game

I tried playing this on gamecube after spiderman 2 ps5 came out whilst waiting for ng+ and uh ya we are all misremembering this game. Its actually horrible to play. The webswinging is cool, thats about it. The controls are ass, game runs like ass even for the time. Missions are either lame or just abysmal.
Whats crazy is, i wasnt even that young when this game came out and i still remember it incorrectly.

In the comic book adaptation of Spider-Man 2 they actually address this in a really clever and cool way. Doc Oak constantly gets knocked out in his fights with Spider-Man, but since his A.I. arms are linked directly to his brain, they wake him up whenever he is knocked out, making him almost unstoppable.

Cmon dude, this game isn't even bad or "broken". It's a game from the early 2000s that was pushing the boundaries and did something new. This game also had a lot of content that u didnt even go into challenges, arena mode, exploration, hideouts, unlockable combat, etc. . Considering this was an open world movie based game from the early 2000s, this game had a lot of content and gameplay improvements from previous Spiderman games.

😂😂 Doc Ock throwing me through the floor and bypassing the fight entirely is what I would consider broken, I literally give this game praise in the video, it’s the blueprint for what came after and was MILES ahead of it’s predecessor Spider-Man 1 that came out 2 years prior. For 2004 this game was incredible for the time but it shows it’s age. I also used the word Rizz ironically for that bit, no part of the tiktok brainrot is part of my actual vocabulary, I’m making fun of it because spiderman was not being smooth he was being weird in that scene. I’m old enough but still GenZ, and grew up with tons of 90’s media. I also quite literally make a joke about me being bad at this game around 17:00 which is why the finale was so hard for me. And lastly I wouldn’t consider this tasteless or dishonest by any means, way bigger creators post way more misleading titles and thumbnails, sometimes not even pertaining o the video itself. I literally follow this up with the word masterpiece, again, giving it praise. Damned if you do damned if you don’t, hope this clears everything up for ya

Also Doc Ock threw u around because u forgot to web his arms; going to attack him head on with zero strategy wasn't the wisest move. And while I appreciate this reply, I do think the thumbnail is clockbait-ish and saying getting hero points is repetitive is greatly overrxggerating it, as the open world is fun to explore and there's tons of activities.
