I want a “no” keyswitch that when turned on (latched to nc) it will record. And when turned off, it will stop recording. Will this work? And if so what’s the recommended “anti-dither” and “Latch” settings for this.
Hi Frank, Yes this should work with any low voltage NO / NC type of device. I am sorry that I am not familiar with anti-dither or latch settings. If you want to email us more details at info@cctvcamerapros.net, we will do our best to help research this with you.
@@wpower84 I am sorry that we are not familiar with that. We do not carry Dahua and our Viewtron recorders do not have those settings. What are the settings options?

cab they be triggered by phone?
Yes. You can see a demo of the alarm output triggered from the iPhone app here. ua-cam.com/video/gKTmUphMRcc/v-deo.html
How do I make this connection if I have no green connection box on the back of my DVR ??
If your DVR does not have an alarm input / output terminal block then your DVR does not support this type of functionality.
