I suggest wait to complete class 12th.... coz after 12th when you start training, initially you will study in ground classes for 6 to 12 months atleast, and the medicals come with a validity (ex Class 1 for 1 year)

Class 2 medical takes only 1 day. Obtaining a computer number is free of cost, but the entire process is quite tedious. So, get your class 2 medicals done, and apply for class 1 medical and computer number simultaneously.

You can do anyways you like... minimum is 12th with Maths and Physics... after which you can start or if you are keen to do engineering first, then you can start after that as well
