Bjørn Olav Leraand Bernie Shaw has a great, great voice and does a great job but nothing will ever replace the voice of David Byron. David Byron will always be the voice of uriah heep!
Saw them on 14th December, 1973. It was an unforgettable concert. This brings back a lot of memories, from a time when it was possible to cling to the stage and feel the sound, with David Byron just centimetres away.
The album never got its due ! Sad that even today Classic Rock radio stations never play Stealin, Pilgrim, Sweet Freedom, If I had the Time , Such great songs!!!
David Byron had one of the best voices in the history of music. He was/is a huge inspiration and I've probably been influenced more by him and John Lawton than any other singers except possibly a little Steve Perry, but Byron got there first!
When I was 15 years old I visited a Live Concert of UH (1977) - I stood about five meters distance directly in front to Mick. He startet the song (I don't know which exactly...) - but I was so impressed of his guitar playing: He played the first riffs only with hammering the fingers of the left hand, right arm hanging down, eyes closed - and that sounded so heavy and groovy - we where blown away...

Gary Thain was one of the greatest bass players of our time, and of course the voice of Byron
Genius !

From their clothing, I think it's from: URIAH HEEP LIVE 1973 - OLYMPIA PARIS - PHOTOS BY BERTRAND ATHOUEL
"Every" Uriah song is an adventure way beyond other bands,... and they were fronted by 'THE' Frontman of all frontmen
💚💛🇧🇷
When rock band members could sing.

Hey Mick, you are good but what the he'll did you play here.
Perhaps the step harmonies were the reason Ritchie Blackmore wanted a new singer and bassist who could sing
