Yeah Sure Drake can remix your song, But it's up to you to take that co sign & progress to the next level and continue to make hits with or without Drake. The fact that you are even blaming Drake for these artist not being poppin now means your kinda indirectly admitting that these artist need Drake to survive or stay relevant. If you need another artist to help you survive or stay relevant then you are pretty much finished before you even start. But if you are truely talented & smart, You would use the cosign/Help from Drake and continue to progress on your own. Perfect examples are The Weekend, PartyNextDoor, Boi-1da, Future, Migos. Drake introduced the world to The Weekend years ago, & fast foward to now The Weekend was talented enough to keep things going on his own. Now he's one of the biggest artist in the country. Boi-1da started out as just Drake's producer now some of his biggest hits that he produced are not even from Drake. The Mainstream was introduced to the Migos when Drake jumped on Versace. Migos were talented enough to stay relevant and make hits on their own. Drake helped Future out early when he hoped on Tony Montana. Now look at Future 4 years later. He's dominated the game on his own. I remember walking down Yonge and Dundas years agoooo and he was trying to sell his mixtape to me and my sister. Too bad we were young as hell and broke. I remember feeling really bad.
