Aur suno ... Je 4200 gp Ae 4600gp AE 4800gp Senior AE 5400gp --9 level Prime senior AE 5400gp 10 level Then EE 6600gp Chief engineer 8700gp
What I think there are two factors 1. Job location mostly in big cities or cities main market area. 2. Transfer you will mostly get of your choice. 3. And last nad most imp type of projects in cpwd which provide you full freedom without external pressure In mes there is always a impartiality towards technical background from general military cadre people.

You can't promote any offers to 6600gp direct without going to 5400 gp 9 and 10 level.... It is supreme Court guideline for all IAS IPS IES etc.... State AE is civil servant officer ... 5400 gp... Some state like Uttrakhand haryana up Maharashtra give 5400--- 10 level... And other state give 5400 --9 level Which is far better than cpwd AE..... Because in cpwd you can't become chief engineer L1 and Chief engineer L2 .. But in state AE you enter into 5400 gp so you can become Chief engineer and go up to engineer in chief ... Highest post...
