My dad owned an Ercoupe back in the 50s (way before I was in the picture). They look fun and it seems like a bargain today (compared to Cessnas at least)
Looking forward to the new format for '25 Richard. You know me and my taste for eclectic aircraft and I can think of many aircraft , that I've been collecting photos of for years, that I would love to see on your channel. Good luck sir!
Duuude...did you see how many pieces of cheap foam I've got behind me? 😂 Yeah for real it's pretty muffled. I'm hoping an exert can help me work around this issue. But tx for the encouragement!
Small, rare and unusual airplanes seem to much more interesting to me, than fighter jets. It is so much more fun to see what someone with a lot of passion and very little money can achieve!
Fun to see these obscure birds; glad to see at least a few are still airworthy...I also am drawn to the "rare and obscure" makes/models. Closest I've gotten to any of them is some seat-time in a 1948 Ercoupe, a delightful plane to fly... Best wishes for the new format for 2025!
Hmm, I'll have to dig deep for that one. I know the designer of the Dielh XTC (Dan Diehl) maybe he'd be up for an interview. I know owners of rare planes as well as the ex-owner of an airline that operated DC-3s.
@@aircraftadventures-vidsUnfortunately, the aircraft designers that I have had close ties have all gone west. (There are a number who would have been great subjects!!!) I have heard from Rans builders (and potential builders) that Randy Schlitter, Rans Designs founder, is affable. He might be a willing subject for an interview for the channel.
Have a friend who rebuilt a Buhl Bullpup with a three cylinder radial engine. Engine was a Sielky or something like that. Awesome budget aircraft for the 20's.
The Aero Boero that I also flew is of the same type of aircraft but it was designed by a private factory and the Ranquel by the Argentine national state.

Thank you for mentioning the Argentine Ranquel! 🇦🇷🩵🤍💛🤍🩵
Very interesting stories. I’m an airplane nut all my life. I owned an Ercoupe years ago, rode in a Rearwin Skyranger in the early 80’s.

Excellent video after 60 years in the aviation industry most were unknown to me.
Mission accomplished! I've got plenty more of where those came from. I just would like to organize it a bit more (categorize them better)
...NOTHING TO SEE HERE BUT AWSOMENESS....LOVE YOUR CHANNEL...AND THE HISTORY LESSON , THANX...😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it And thanks for the nice feedback.
@@aircraftadventures-vids I'm looking forward to vol. 2
Had never seen or heard of any of these. Thank you.
thanks for watching!

Hey Brad, appreciate it! It's baby steps for sure, but hoping to make some good progress and keep growing the channel. See you at Osh2025!
Well done! I'm looking forward to what's in store.
Thank you!
Get s'more dampening, it's getting closer but a muffled room reverb is still very much there. Otherwise? Lovely concept! Best of luck!

ı told you before that you know this job and I am looking forward to your new format 25 happy new year
Thank you for the kind words! It's sort of a brave new world for me but I think it's the right step.

Agree! Thanks for watching!

I really like this new ideas, go ahead! 👍👍👍
Awesome, thank you! No turning back now, i guess
sky fairer is a popular rubber scale free flight. Comet kitted the Akron Funk.
The Stits Fly Baby would be a good choice.
That one deserves to be in "tiny" plane category.
Interview aircraft designers please!

Now this is what I'm here for.
Thanks for watching!

The Bullpup is a really nice design, a little bit like a Fly Baby (who knows maybe the Bull Pup inspired the fly baby??)
Great vid! As feedback, I would say turn the music volume down a couple clicks.
Gotcha! Yeah it's tough, some hate it but it's a way to make my monotonous voice a little less tedious to listen to (or at least, to me)
HAHAHAHA "Uncomfortable fake neck scratch" I love this channel.
Soon that neck scratch won’t be so uncomfortable! See ya at osh or sun n fun
I flew the Dinfia 46 Ranquel towing gliders. It’s a very good plane with a 180hp Lycoming.
Nice! If I'm not mistake the Aero Boero was based on it, no?
The Aero Boero that I also flew is of the same type of aircraft but it was designed by a private factory and the Ranquel by the Argentine national state.
All those aircraft are planes I've never heard, which boggles me... since I am an avgeek and a volunteer at a helicopter museum!
Keep up the great work!
Ha, mission accomplished! I got tons of these stored away ready to do another round. Which museum you volunteer at?
American helicopter museum, West Chester, PA.
This channel deserves WAY more attention and subs. Comment for engagement!!
Hey, much appreciated!
Very nice video. I would have liked it not to have moved so quick on the pictures
Yeah hard to make everyone happy. I've complaints everything moves too slowly. That being said, you CAN slow down the video in your settings.
Cool . Please stay away from BOTS.
