I love how you encourage people to do what they do best. I sew, quilt and do all kinds of arts and crafts. I am addicted to you tube tutorials. I have so many subscriptions but it is because I enjoy them and learn so much, even at my age of 70. I believe you never stop learning or coming up with interesting new ideas. God Bless and keep being you. You are a light on a hill and a sunshine in some one's heart.
Thank you so much!
I used that white “ micro fiber “( maybe it’s not 🤷♀️) to make a “ fur” jacket for my granddaughter’s American Girl Doll. She loved it!
You amaze me! You talk, instruct and sew all at the same time. LOL, I can’t walk and talk at the same time. LOL. It’s such a pleasure to watch your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your experience and talents and your eyes are beautiful.
Oh thank you!
I love watching your videos. I have learned so much
I made these years ago with baby elephant flannel on one side and cloth diapers on the other. More expensive, but I love the way diapers get so soft and crinkly after a couple of washes, and we know they are absorbing. The mother told me later, they were her favorite because of the cloth, and how big I made them.
I think replacing the fabric with a long tea towel would make an awesome addition to my kitchen. My husband is always looking for something to wipe his hands on when cooking or cutting up veggies. This he could throw over his shoulder like the chefs on TV. 😀 Thanks for the great idea.
Great idea!!
Try looking up a tutorial for a kitchen boa. It’s a long towel you drape around your neck like a dress-up feather boa but it’s to wipe your hands on or use as a mitt when removing hot dishes from the oven. Bet your husband would love it!
@@betsyweaver-oo2ef Thanks Betsy, I have a tutorial for a boa saved in my videos and had forgotten about it.
@@barbaralowry6669 I saved a tutorial for a 10 minute boa that looked pretty simple. Guess what everyone’s getting for Christmas this year!!!😂
@betsyweaver-oo2ef I made a few kitchen towel boas for my sister and 2 sister in laws for Christmas a couple of years ago. They were really easy. The only thing I forgot to do was make one for myself! 😅
I'm not a sewer for craft, but for repairs. 😂
I recently researched how to make a fidget mat for my sister, she has dementia, and I found a whole new world. Your videos started coming up yesterday and I subscribed to you and a couple of other people.
I don't know if I'll make anything to sell. I'm into several different crafts, but it sure doesn't hurt to learn more.
Thank you.😊
I enjoy sewing. So I made some oversize bibs with a stretch tee shirt style hole for the head for some kids in kindergarten so when they finger paint they don't get it all over themselves. The teacher's aide saw them and asked if I could make a couple for and adult. Which I did. She said they worked perfect for her mother who must be fed that also has dementia. It helps keep her clean. So she ordered five more. So I made them for her and told her no charge. You just keep enjoying having your Mother here and sharing the little things.
I love these easy quick projects!!!! Also that you use clips instead of pins!!!! You are a joy to watch!!
Yes! Thank you!
Thank you for making me want to restart sewing! Great Job
This is perfect baby gift! Yes you can never have too many burping clothes!!!
Chelsea, that’s a great idea using the micro fabric. I got some of those awhile back and had the same idea but never did it. I think after seeing your video, I will try it the next time I need a baby shower gift. Thank you again
You are so welcome!
Nice gift!!!
I enjoy your talent. I also enjoy your soul! You are so kind. ❤ blessings from Tennessee
Thank you so much!
Thank you for saying that you are proud of us, it made my day, just think how many people you make feel good, just like me, blessings from Minnesota ❤
🥰🥰🥰
I love your attitude and encouragement! You are a true sweetheart! ❤️
Thank you so much!
I’d definitely make a sample one and wash it before giving for gifts.
Adorable...but I also love your top! Would love to try to make one like it. Thanks❤🎉❤🎉
We each have our own things we do. I crochet and a few other crafts. I love watching you make things and you make me feel like I can sew anything too. Thank you for sharing your ideas! 😊
Great video! I'm so glad I found your channel! I love your personality! You're like a breath of fresh air!

I agree......not meant to be stressful.....good point
You are “sew” entertaining! Love it.
Oh thank you!
I AGREE100% with you everyone has their own nich strenth - that is what makes this world go round - these are the first things I make for a new mom & of course a baby blanket - love your videos
Those look nice and soft. I have made a lot of burp cloths, usually with a cloth diaper ( the pre floded type) and flannel together. Yours is definitely a nice and economical idea!
I love this idea. Thank you
You are so welcome!
Another great idea. My dollar tree has some darling fleece baby blankets too.
Never can have enough burp clothes! Such a easy and simple project! 😊
Yes, we are all different and unique...fearfully and wonderfully made!

The good thing about doing any creation is
[1] you did it yourself, which saved you money from not having to pay for the labor. [2] you come to learn, the do's and don't and with every project you do, you work your way up to being an expert.
[3] you become amazed that, that beautiful artwork came out of your beautiful hands and can't believe that you have the potential to create it.
[4] you don't have to wait for anyone to make it for you because you can make it yourself. [5] is all about having a lot of patience and if you don't have any, then ask God for grace to allow you to have the patience to create anything.
Where there's a will there's a way and nothing is impossible for the King, Lord, and Savior upstairs. If you don't have the patience and can't create anything, it is okay, that's why they are creators that can do it for you. Always remember that with love and kindness, you will open any doors. God bless the world and don't forget to give thanks to the great and Almighty upstairs.
Thank you for sharing 🌺
You are so welcome
Cheat thought from an "old gal"... do the stitching on the "drawn line" and trim AFTER... so much easier than trying to stitch on a curve! Love your helping the younger generation get going with sewing and saving! Hugs, GrammaBabs
😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you for your awesome and affordable tutorials. I am getting back to sewing because of you.
Wonderful! That’s awesome!
To make sure I leave an opening on my projects, I double pin at the beginning and the end - when I get to the spot that has two pins next to each other, I know I'm done sewing. I find this to be better than using a marking pencil, since sometimes you're working with a darker fabric or one with a busy pattern and you could miss seeing the marking, but you can't miss two pins next to each other (or if you do, you'll be sewing over that double bump!)
I do the same with different color pins. I can't tell you how many times I stitched past a mark before I started to double pin.
you can also sublimate the white microfiber cloths with your full color images or personalization
Great idea!
You can use the DT fleece/flannel blankets as well for this project..
I really enjoy watching you and thank you for your kind words of encouragement !❤
You are so welcome
😊love your ideas and you also make me feels good every time I watch
Thank you!
I cut out a half moon in middle of one long side so that side fits snug along the neck
That is a clever idea. Thanks.❤
Your attitude is brightness to my day.
Thanks!
You are always so cheerful. You are a pleasure to watch!
Thank you!
You are a joy to watch.
I really enjoy your tutorials Chelsea. Thanks for sharing your projects.
You are so welcome!
Love your attitude ❤
I did the same thing a few years back when my niece was expecting. I love those Dollar Tree white cloths, they're amazing, almost like Minky. She loved them and now uses them for all kinds of other stuff!
So cool!
Thank you for all your inspiration❤
You are so welcome!
Love, love, love your tutorials!! ❤
Thank you so much!!
Adorable Chelsea❤❤
Thanks!
what a great gift idea
It really is!
I really enjoy watching your videos. You are so inspiring. Thank you for your soft words.
You are so welcome
I wish I had found you when I started sewing. You make it look so easy. I'm no pro at all. But I try things, and sometimes I laugh, so idont cry at my sewing. Lolol. Some days my sewing machine and I get along swell..... and other days, we do not click. 😂
I totally get that! You’re doing great!
Use 2 of those and make a pillow to snuggle up👍🏻👍🏻🪡🧵💯🤗
Love this 🎉
I just made these and they are adorable. I took your advice and embroidered on it first ❤
Wonderful!
You are super cool! I love your vibe and energy. And you are super creative. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!!
Perfect!
Wow!! That’s so neat. You totally amaze me. You are so talented. You have so encouraged me to dig out my machine. I can’t wait to start sewing. ❤️
Go for it!
Can you show the soft towel up close and what section it can be found in.
I believe these soft towels are found in the car/automotive section of Dollar Tree. It's a fuzzy white or cream colored cleaning cloth over there. Hope this helps!
I really enjoyed watching you videos
I use double clips or pins on each side of my opening to remind me where not to sew. Quick, easy, and no need for a marker... works gteat!😊
Great tip!
I love watching your vidoes! I miss seeing you live on TikTok! I have learned so much from you so Thank You!!
Hi Rebekah! Great seeing you on here!
What kind of cutting sorcery is going on with your table?!?. I need that!
❤love it ❤😊
Very beautiful I like it thank you 😊.
You are welcome 😊
I learned to sew on that exact Kenmore in the background. lol good memories. Nice video.
I was thinking the other day that the autocloth would make a good burpcloth, you read my mind. 😁
Chelsea, i love watching your videos. You're always so happy when you sew and show use special projects. I haven't started making things yet because, like you said, im scared of failure, but I am getting there. I have some ideas and want to try them. Thank you for sending our positive vibes. ❤
You are so welcome!
@@shesewsseams ❤️
Love it
Thank you for sharing your ideas, I’m a grandma but all my grandkids are passed the burping stage❤
I'm oh so gonna make some!!!❤❤❤
I hope so!
Love your channel! Sew fun!!😂. I have made about 20 of the burp cloths using the DTauto cleaning cloth!!! They come out marvelous! Very easy and quick for a working person who likes to craft!
That is awesome!
Love this! 1st grandchild on the way!
Wonderful!
I just found out I am going to have a granddaughter and I’m so excited to make some things for her!
Yay! Congratulations!
You're super!
❤❤❤
Love all your projects. I have some feed bags. Would love if you could show me a way to repurpose them. It can be a free project almost. Just need thread if you or a friend has feed bags.
Great idea!
Ooo, you could cut them smaller and use for non- paper towels instead of wasting money on rolls of paper towels
This could be a lovey or a sensory thingy also! :D
Definitely!
Chelsea, I absolutely LOVE your videos! But, I'm not sure of your supplies on this one. Are you using a cat cleaning microfiber cloth and quilting cotton from dollar tree? Or, an ordinary fat quarter, which seems a little rough?
Car, not cat! Lol
I am. The fat quarter goes on the wearers shoulder and the car cloth faces baby.
Thank you! I'm learning so much from you and having fun at the same time... you are a PHENOMENAL teacher ❤️
Did you sew that top? I love that!
Have you ever made an animal blankie; meaning a blanket the baby can hold with an animal head placed in center😊
Not yet!
Hello! I am new to sewing and I love your tutorials ❤ Since I'm so new, what is the back part that you used? Thank you 😊
What would you do with the blankets that dollar tree has in the baby section? See 2 together or what.? Any ideas?
I’ll have to think on it!
Saw you video for dish dry mat bag ❤ and made one🎉 grand baby on the way this is perfect 🤩 question what rotary cutter are you using and what is the brand/make of your machine? Thanks again!
So cute! My daughter is going to a baby shower in August so this is a must do project. Where are the white towels in the Dollar Tree Store? 🍼👶🏼🐣
In my store they are in the auto section. I am becoming a Grate-grandma in August. Thank you.
Haha; I love this though I’m lost on what dollar tree products are being used? 😊 Thanks
I was also looking for a list of the materials she used. She mentioned the micro fiber towel, and maybe the other material is a piece of fabric?
Where in Dollar Tree did you find that size in those colors for the burp clause? Thank you so much for sharing this idea
They're usually in the automotive section.
You never said what kind of fat quarter is it flannel ?
⚠️ Warning ⚠️
Many people with sensitive skin will break out from Microfiber! And speaking personally Microfiber dries my skin out so much my hands cracks and bleeds! I would recommend 100%cotton terrycloth or a 100% cotton tea towel!
How long is the fabric for the Burp Cloth ?
Are you saying that 16 x 16 before you cut it?
👋👋 ❤👶🏻
Such a great idea. How can I show you want I’ve done. I made a bag from the drying cloths. Also have you seen the table placemats at the dollar tree. I made a bag with those to and my daughter took it lol.
Shesewsseams@gmail.com 🥰
Very nice. Are these the microfiber cloth for car cleaning? ❤
Yep!
🤣
Not perfect… if you’d have left it as ONE, it would’ve been perfect! But great idea! You are soooo creative!
Those microfiber clothes will just smear spit up all over baby’s face😢
