As a coach i'm open to the idea of laceless when I train with the boys but there is no way you would catch me in laceless during a competitive match
does that mean laceless boots not good for attackers ? or players who need to make runs or side defenders too?
@@sayash_7 all it means laceless don’t have better lockdown than boots with laces. The idea that certain positions have to wear certain types of boots isn’t true. Wear whatever u feel comfortable in. Laces Will always be superior when it comes to lockdown tho.

@@silentgamergames064 Lockdown means preventing your foot from moving around too much inside your boot.
You best be wearing shoes not cleats as a coach
I can testify to how good they are , my son's in an U13 EPL team and it gives him much more curve and spin when he shoots and feel with his dribbles .

Copa sense + is not the only laceless leather option on the market, there is also the Tekela V3+ on the leather variation which would be nice to see a review of it soon, I wonder to see if it improves the feel on the touch compared to the knitted version and if due to the lack of lacing system it would overstretch over time and if the lockdown would get worse due to it..
@Teamgeist I think they look good, at least better than the knitted version, but yeah the real question is if that leather variation is superior to the knitted one..
Dude, glad you mention it, I love the tekela leather version. Now I can't say it's better than the knit version, but I have found it fits my foot better than the knit version, might be because of my foot shape though. Though if you are thinking of trying the leather version get the V3+ version. The V3 leather version is awful.

i recently got the adidas x speed flow + and they feel absolutely incredible. paired with a pair of grip socks and there’s barely any movement within whatsoever
i think mine might be slightly big but the only thing i dislike is that my toes have enough space to wiggle inside and i dont rlly move the shoe so it makes it harder to shoot, especially straight shots
@@awadoy6471 i think it definitely comes down to preference because i love mine really tight so that my shots are more accurate and strong

@@ezekielgberie2796 that’s actually what i did! i’m a size 10 and i got a size 9.5 - they feel great that way due to the vacuum fit it gives

It's the most comfortable pair of cleats I wore
Owned the speedflows and I absolutely loved the upper and how it wrapped my foot but I did get some slippage within the boot and after about 5 games they were showing so much wear that I returned them as I didn’t feel confident in them, now I own some tiempo legend 9 elites and Mizuno Morelia DNAs🙌

I have 3 pairs of laceless puma boots i have to say their great the chrome on the bottom of the boots may come off but their perfectly fine to play with and great for shooting

Do the predictor edges come with the laces or not . To buy them separately? Because I would love to be able to try with and without laces if I bought them
isn't the Copa a defender boot? that mean it should be able to take hits and the defender should be able to turn however which means the stud pattern is great for that shoe

The x speedflows needs to be tight and right length from the start or they are going to be too big when you wear them after some time
ayo Josh, could you do some investigation into these New Balance's wide variations that you mentioned in the video? I've seen some written reviews say that they are the exact same width as the regular model, and in general just heard bad things about inconsistencies in NB's manufacturing, making boots not always come out uniform.
The uppers are formed around a wider and higher volume last, but the soleplate is the same as the normal width versions. They’re definitely wider overall though. At least all of the wide fit versions I’ve tried.
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Thanks for the info bro. Wish I could find brands/models with wider soleplates by default. I don’t think bigger, stretchier uppers alone could help my wide ass feet, even my Tiempo 9s hurt to step on.
I got a pair of previous year preds. While they’re not laceless, I found the heal cup doesn’t quite right. Any time I’m cutting or doing any aggressive lateral movement on defense, I can can feel the plate under my heel is sliding. Just needs to have stiffer material around the ankle or have the laces go another inch up the boot.
Am I the only one getting this issue? I know I’m super picky about having my feet totally locked in but this feels bad enough to retire a pair I just bought.

What is your recommendation on laceless for wide feet? My son has wide feet and usually can't even get them on. Plus most cleats are too narrow as well. He would be a size 9 US mens.
If you have exceptionally wide feet, laceless boots with no adjustability just aren't a good idea.

Nike made Laceless Air Zoom i have the Yellow pair in fact and they’re quite good exept they take a bit longer to break in compares to other boots but overall pretty good

Does the Puma Future function well on AG surfaces? Seems they're marketed as FG/AG but how do they compare to AG specific sole plates?
Naah that construction even though they call it FG/AG seems more FG oriented and too aggressive for AG. I suggest stick to the AG specific soleplates only.
The Puma Future MG is better suited for AG surfaces.

Just got a pair and their not as bad on ag pitches as I thought they would be. Probably still not ideal or that safe but because of how large the studs are, they don't really dig into the turf.
