Yo browns fan here I grew up here I'm 34. I'll say it. No stud wants to play here and that's why it's hard for us. It really is a perception issue we are fighting. Nobody thinks we can actually win it and so do our players it's a sickness. But we can maybe force it by being so stacked and talented. So we shall see.

last played great in 2020 sat out 2021 played 6 games 2022 due to suspension played good in 2023 but was dealing with a injured shoulder last game before he was out for the season he beat the ravens in a comeback win and they were the best defense at the time. He’s still good he just has to play a full season

Viable is a consultant for the browns.
He was brought in by our Def coordinator ( who had a history with him) and our hc and front office signed off on it.
He can spend ad little or as much time with team and ayers as he wants, he will be on sidelines during the season if he wants also.
Mostly he took it to come back home and spend time and stay in football( he will get a job next hear ad a hc prob with bills after they go 5 and 12 and miss the playoffs).
But that's his role, consultant, but he is basicly jim swarts( our DC) right hand man.

@@patriotpastor59 had a consistent staff for the last 4 years, and the culture within the building started flipping with the Jarvis trade back in 2018. People that work in the Browns facility have said it is night and day from what it was back then. Very healthy internally compared to 7-8 years ago.

Sure it’s year 3 but let’s put some perspective on it. Year 1 suspended 11 games. Year 2 hurt 10 games. Guy has played 12 games. He just needs to play within offense! He needs to be available. They also picked up Winston who’s better than any qb that filled in last year.

Simms hit the nail on the head with Watson last year; every time he was about to turn the corner and showed flashes of his old self, something (usually an injury) happened to set him back. Guy just needs to stay on the field.
I am sick of hearing about how Watson played with the Texans. He has been playing for the Browns for 2 years.
Florio doesn’t know anything about X’s and O’s and how the players are actually playing. It’s so obvious. Simms, however, is the man. And Florio is lucky that he can just steal all of Simms’s knowledge and film takes and not have to give him credit for it
The whole team was frustrated that week 2 game vs Steelers, but yes Watson more so than anybody else. He definitely let those frustrations get the better of him that game. But lets not act like the whole team wasnt shell shocked& then pissed off for no reason. The dirty hit by Minkah being so gruesome would've done that to any other team as well, bank on that

I'm sure that Vrabel is a strategic asset to CLE, but as a Browns fan, I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with Vrabel learning the team that well. If he goes to another team, then that whole time he was with CLE, he was basically a spy.
i wouldn't read that much into it. there's already enough turn around between players and position coaches that every team has more than enough info on the other. i personally think vrabel is taking a gap year in cleveland to see how the ohio state hc position plays out should ryan day choke again this upcoming season.

If any true Browns fan doesn't agree with what Chris is saying, you're lying to yourself. It's crazy because you could build the best team on the planet, but if you're missing that one piece at quarterback none of it really matters. I hope Watson proves me wrong. I really do! Kevin stefanski did it last year. I wasn't a big fan of his until I saw what he was able to do with that team last year. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong and I will never doubt that guy again. I'm glad we locked him up with a contract extension.
When there are 17 games and only 6 are division games the division games carry far less weight than non - division games.
I am waiting for a season where a divison winner goes 0 - 6 in their division and wins it against a team who goes 6 - 0 in the division.
11 - 6 with no division wins beats 10 - 7 with 6 division wins.

I lost all faith in stefanski after the browns blew a 2 td lead to the Joe Flacco led jets with 1 minute left. It was mind boggling to watch. You have this dominant RB in nick chubb, and lots of talent on defense. Run the ball to keep clock moving and play defense!

They would be better off with Baker Mayfield. Bengals fan here. I’m not worried about the Browns this year or Mike Vrabel. Do you know why? 2 reasons. 1. We have Joe Burrow and he is pissed about missing time last year. 2. Bill Callahan who is the best offensive line coach in the NFL is no longer working for the Browns. His son Brian, who is the Bengals former OC, is coaching the Titans and he brought his dad on board to coach their offensive line. So Callahan is out of there. People are going to underestimate how big of a change that is. Oh and Deshaun Watson is not going recover his form from 2020.

Callahan even tho a great coach didn't shut them down, that defense did and it's still there. From my recollection Burrell was healthy for most of the games against the Browns so it's a really muted point you made.

I said on multiple other platforms our defense wasn't as good as people were talking about. They had two dominant wins that boosted their overall statistics against Arizona and Tennessee. They only played good at home and got torched on the road. So I don't know what point I'm sidestepping once again
