- I was ready to try out the new rust update. I joined a bi-weekly vanilla server right as the update went live and made my way into the deep snow. I set up my base right next to large oil rig which also got some new features because of the update. A big clan built their base in my area and was controlling the only nearby monument powerplant. I had to go to oil rig to keep up with them and succesfully did so. Once they found out I was geared they forced me into moving bases (to an iceberg) and tracked down my new base.

I've been noticing it too lately. I was playing the most recent monday wipe and got a horse right as I spawned, but after a few minutes I had to leave it behind because I was just getting stuck on nothing constantly. The offlines in rust are so demoralizing. Even as a clan leader running a Zerg, the two hours before our EU players swap with our NA player is always a death sentence

Big fan of the no commentary gameplay. I wish Rust wasn't so infested with large groups and offlining. I get that both of those is apart of the game but it makes life as a solo player unenjoyable a lot. Thankfully, I never put a lot of hours into the game before giving up on it. I can imagine players feeling trapped by how many hours they have in this game and forcing themselves to go through the pain anyways haha. At least you're good at the game and it makes up for some of it

hey man, is there any way to do oil rig with bow only? tried it and feels really tough without l3 room being unopenable for scientists
Its still doable, you can use the same strat as I did ik the video. Parcour your way to the L5 secret vent and from there you can take all the scientists. Thanks for watching bro ❤️❤️

Impressive from beginning to ending. That zerg is so scared they have to offline a solo player and spend 18 rockets.
On a sidenote, bunker your base using the 2 half walls and spiral stairs method. HQM that's an extra 11 rockets they neede to spend lol.

what servers do you play do you like stick to one server and only play that or have like a main server because i have trouble picking servers
I always play highpop official vanilla servers. I don't really have a standard server, I like to go around on a lot of different ones. I'm having trouble getting around 100FPS with an RTX4080 graphics board.

Yes I always play on official servers. I think my average pop is 600-700 on wipeday and 400-600 after wipeday. Good luck with trying out vanilla!

playing a lot off solo myself but always find my self strugeling to find a good build spoot for solos, do you have any recomandasions?
I personally think that building near the ocean and close to an oilrig is the best place for a solo to live. The ocean has an unlimited comps supply and also gives you a lot of T2 tools out of the toolboxes and underwater dive crates. It's also really nice that you can disengage water fights by diving away if you don't feel like its winnable. And speargun op ofcourse, most people in the water don't have it so ez kills. And oilrig is just snowball heaven, sneak your way on there, kill one loaded player, dive away, depot and go again. Thanks for watching the video bro ❤️❤️

Any tips to improve at rust? I struggle to win most fights when I play solo
Server choice is very important, if you know you are not the best player you should not go on official highpop right away. Instead improve on servers that are a little easier and then go to highpop official. I also recommend building near the water, the water is the best way for a solo to progress. Great video and insane understanding of the game / progression. I play my wipes very similarly but it always baffles me how unrewarding solo has become. Your progression from beach HAS to be flawless and u almost have to make 0 mistakes at start. Game has become more and more difficult for new players

I think if u want to get your content to a new level id recommend creating a unique base like aloneintokyo (could be smaller ofc) but it attracts alot of new viewers

How do you plan to cope with the new cargo and oil rig meta? Good question since you build mostly water bases near rig. *commenting on this before the vid looking forward to seeing it.
I've played the update a lot this weekend and already have a good read on how I have to play oil and cargo. It now is easier to get on, but harder to survive once you're on, so you gotta make some plays and don't overstay for too long. Thanks for watching bro ❤️❤️

Hey Mikey, have you ever tried building in a cave? It's not as convenient but it will help you not get offlined as it's really easy to build bunkers in caves
I have never tried it and you're right about it being very strong for offlines. I think I've never tried it, because caves are usually not near the beaches where I like to play my wipes. I should give it a try sometime tho. Thank for watching Splatec ❤️❤️

You like right click to ads, then you let go of right click. Then you sprint and quickly after you have to right click again and then you can shoot. If you are too late with rightclicking the second time you wont be able to shoot. Its not that difficult to do, just gotta practise a couple of times to get id down. Thanks for watching bro ❤️❤️
