Whilst away from Adelaide for work in Port Pirie, I was rather lucky to be accommodated rather close to the rail line, meaning, with a bit of luck, I was able to train spot before and after work with very minimal effort. After my first week there, the novelty had worn off with the same trains rolling past like clockwork. Until I was lucky enough to see this interesting sight on the steel train bound for Whyalla!
Grain wagons, that I believe generally reside in Victoria were transferred to Port Augusta for maintenance at Progress rail. This video shows them on 2NY3 and returning to the Eastern States on 7XM4. For those of you rolling stock buffs out there, the road umbers for the wagons were: VHHF 815L, VHHF 822P, VHHF 914J, VHGF 104L, VHGF 439J, VHHF 817G, VHHX 711R and VHHF 876W. - Авто та транспорт
