Rob Miles thanks Rob, quality of the video isn’t miles different from the old drone but the way it flies is much smoother. I had not stabilised any of the shots in this video which is just amazing
Thanks man, does look really nice even for 1080p. filmed in 4k but i edited to 1080p for youtube and for file size haha. Im amazed at how smooth the footage is, to not stabilize any of the clips is amazing
Very atmospheric video mate. Flying over and through fog is always a fantastic result! 👍🏻👍🏻 The M2 is a real beast isn't' it? Solid and steady..... Glad you're enjoying it Andy! Great video. Ian in London
thanks Ian, yeh this video was made by the fog. I was able to get a free trial video converter and i converted the H265 files to H264. I would of been gutted if i lost this. The M2 is so smooth its crazy. i did not stabilize any of this footage :O
@@droneuk H265 is the new standard; I'd have thought your Mac and Final Cut would have handled this. Check out reading H265 on Macs on Google and see what the deal is. And maybe set the Mavic to record in H264 until you get it sorted :) No stabilisation ever needed with the Pro 😎😎
yeh same, its a decent spec imac, 8GB Ram etc only 1.5 years old and has the most up to date operating system but it just wouldnt work ad FCPX said the files were not supported. So annoying. Yeh will switch to h265 as the video converter was only a free trial. Someone said try MOV H265 instead of MP4
cheers Andy, i wish the weather would improve so i can get back out. I do enjoy the drone when the weather is right and i am not in a rush ha. They are a great bit of kit
Al Diaz thanks, yeh the fog makes it look awesome and gives a great feel. Love the compactness and quality of the Mavic 2 Pro and can tell it’s good as I have not stabilised any of the footage. Just some colour grading. That’s all I’ve had to do with this video footage wise. Still need more time with it though as this was my first video with it
Great video Andy, I was thinking of buying the M2 but instead I'm saving for the macbook pro with final cut pro. Keep up the great work buddie. When flying Andy do you film with a filter and in Dlog?
Go 4k Media nice man, Final Cut Pro is such a great piece of kit, I love it. Well for this one I did use the new 10bit d log mode in h265 but then the Mac and FCPX didn’t work with these new file types so downloaded a trial file converter to edit the footage but my latest video was using the older h264 which only does normal mode and you can tell. Sucks. I think I need to work out how to use the 10bit colour h265
@@droneuk so should I get us3d to shooting with my phantom 4 pro in dlog and the in post production colour correct using final cut pro? I have my white balance set to 5600k
Go 4k Media the best thing for post processing is d log as it gives you a lot more movement to get the look you want rather than the drone pre set the colours/look. Then yeh edit post in the software. Just a shame I can’t get the new M2Pro to work with its new d log mode. I make editing tutorials for FCPX if your interested check out my playlist 🙂
@@droneuk yes I will defo have a look through when I finally get my new shiny toy along with FCPX. I really can't wait to see if I can save some footage and make it look better with better editing tools. I will shoot in dlog from now on and use a filter, then like you said I can play around with it more.
nothing but Stunning and beautiful come to mind. Very nostalgic and British feeling
The atmosphere and the fog makes this so much better
thanks for the comment. Yeh definitely, it sets the mood so much. Also the music fits in really well
Perfect in every way.
Thanks Tony, i do love this video :)

eaglevp thanks Keith glad you like it 😁
Clearly can see the improvement in video footage! Great video Andy!
Milos Minic thanks 😁 that’s great to hear and yeh I feel you can see the improvement even with it just being exported to UA-cam as 1080p
Brilliant flight mate, Loved the fog, Made the flight a little more dramatic, well done.
Pixies Channel thanks Chris 😁
Oh yeh the fog makes this video, and the hovis bread advert ww2 music haha
I absolutely loved the atmospheric feel to this Andy. Superbly flown and edited!
Nivek Nilknarf thanks man, appreciate the comment 😊 although I feel the Mavic 2 has something to do with the smoothness ha
Yes, the smoothness is great. But the flying and the capture of the shots is all down to you mate. Well done! :)
Nivek Nilknarf thanks 🙂
Thumbs up ere' Andy - wow! Great work with your first flight and nice work on the edit! Many thanks for sharing :)
Thanks Shaun, love how smooth the footage came out from the Mavic 2 Pro, no stabilizing needed, Just colour graded :)
Top stuff mate. The image quality is superb.
