Very interesting to see. It looked exciting. I prefer scrambling myself, before climbing with gears. More freedom and I don't have to rely on a climbing partner (which I don't have now). I also want to feel the safety of that I technically probably could make it, without gears. Nowadays I try to climb safe and not taking unnecessary risks though.
Very important to take those risks seriously - the freedom and "purity" of scrambling is something I've really enjoyed, but with those things comes a significant degree of added risk
@@daniel_johnson_pmbpk I try to always go within my own ability. Not relying on any "luck", my guardian angel or something outside of myself. (That is cheating. 😄)
Thanks! I actually don't do much sport climbing at all, I get a bit impatient with all the hassle of the gear, don't own any of it myself so need to rely on others organizing something, and prefer the simplicity and naturalness of scrambling mostly. I've done a bit indoors from time to time, but only top-rope, where I max out around 22/23
@@daniel_johnson_pmbpk Not bad 😄👍 I love a good scramble myself- I've a video on my channel of a famous Scottish scramble called curved Ridge., and a couple of simple but classic winter solo routes. Cape Town looks amazing! 😁 Atb
Such incredible work , the redwings , the sneaky routes, the music , the halo . just amazing , thank you !!!!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Really appreciate the love on these :)
Duuuude. 😮 your videos really make my day 👏👏
Really appreciate it!
Another awesome video covering the pristine Table mountain hiking route. Not sure why your channel doesnt have more subscribers.
Thank you! A lot of it is pretty niche interest, the filming, editing and structure could all use work, but glad you're enjoying them :)
Epic hike! 👌🏽
Awesome video bru! 🤙
Thanks!

WOWZER
The cinematography in this video is beyond words. How do you achieve that cinematic look in post-production? 📽🎬 - Nico, fellow creator
Epic!
