Thanks for the review! There are not many videos on zoids so this helped me a lot. I've built lots of gunpla and wanted to try something different, so I'm picking this kit up.
These are awesome kits. I just started building the Lightning Saix. One thing I've noticed with most of the Zoids kit reviews is people suggesting gluing certain loose parts. I heard it mentioned so many times it really gave me the impression that the kits were flawed or poorly designed. I've been building plastic kits for a long time and I always make a habit of going through the manual to mark out any special instructions or sections that might be confusing. Particularly when there's no English. I noticed right away there were symbols throughout the booklet that showed adhesive required. The legend for the symbols was in English as well. I used a translator app to see if I was missing anything else and at the beginning of the booklet there's a sections that explains while this is a press fit kit they suggest using an adhesive for a better finish. They are definitely more advanced than Bandai HGs or MGs for that matter. I can see myself building a lot more 👍😁
I agree they are awsome kits! I do like the fact that I was still able to assemble the kit without glue for the review so I can disassemble it for painting later. The final build I will definitely hit a spot of glue here and there.
Somehow this Zoid reminds me of the Megaman X Ultimate Armor because of the colors: clear blue pieces with black and gold accents. It can't be just a coincidence.
Just picked this up yesterday, thinking I'm gonna paint the yellow gold and the blue a dark metallic blue. Very excited though, it'll be my first model in years.
Seen these kits but never bothered with im, just Gunpla and 30mm/30ms for me thus far. Question, can you get these kits into differentor dynamic poses or do they pretty much sit neutral stanced on all fours?
My liger's shoulder blades don't have the same mobility as yours. Did you do anything extra when you were assembling to make sure everything was as smooth as possible? I personally used flush cutters to make sure I'd reduce as much leftover from the plastic holders as possible.
I didn't so anything special honestly I kind of speed built it to get the review done lol. I too used my single blade nippers to cut the nubs flush, here and there using my hobby knife if necessary. I livestreamed the build on my instagram and left them up on the page if you wanted to see exactly how I assembled them.

Nice review, nice kit. They're 20% at newtype rn but I'm going to wait until my backlog is cut in half.

They have great articulation and can pull off tons of poses!
Thank you.

@@GunplaJoey Awesome, thank you. Just wanna make sure my baby can move the way it's supposed to. God knows I spent enough for at least a good pose.
@@SeraphimDragon Perhaps it is due to the expansion or contraction of the plastic due to the different climates
Interesting thought.
My mans out here dropping videos in the night
Yessir!!!!
is this a easy build looking for somthing to do on Saturday?
I didn't think it was overly complicated, and the instructions are very easy to follow. Go for it and have fun with it!
Freaking awesome review bro!!!!
Thanks bro!!!
It’s difficult to build this zoid, this my first, and i stress à lot… I’ve make 5 mg gundam since the last summer. I’m worried about the glue
Practice and experience will make it where these things get easier over time. Keep at it and you will get it!
Thanks for this advice 🙂
Only zoids has no armor on upper feet 😢 feet
Yes, that is a bummer, but there are so many other versions of the liger that do have that armor.
@@GunplaJoey try review liger zero chogokin
I will look into one for sure
