We are fans of the Garphil trilogies. The Sagas have been our favorite way to play (Runesaga, Tomesaga) the previous ones. They add achievements for each game that give a bonus to the next game played. So there ends up being both a winner of the individual game, and then a winner of the overall Saga. Often you can win the Saga without winning a game.
The 99 Heroes part of the Bullet Cubed campaign is a separate game. Each kickstarter (and maybe each order over a specific amount, I'm not sure) they send a pack of characters for the game. I think each pack is, by itself a playable game (but you also need a deck of regular playing cards), but they go together, so the more Level 99 games you back, the bigger this free game gets, over time. You can also by previous packs on their store. I have one pack of them, but I haven't actually tried playing the game to comment on it.
Like Alex, I'm not in a huge rush for CMON stuff, but the White Death situation is total BS. My son works at a FLGS and they've had the non-exclusive stuff show up for sale already but no signs of any of my pledge yet. I understand that their retail release was going through a different distributor, but that's still no excuse for the massive difference in delivery time for backers.
Given the state of the world - is it worth backing anything? How do we evaluate the risks that these campaigns will not deliver because of tariffs, massive inflation, trade (or other) wars, etc...?
Hi, newly discovered your channel recently and I feel you have a lot of knowledge to share, but you talk so fast for an old man from England to understand
Hello. Thanks for your video. If you have to chose, which campaign Will you select, massive darkness or fateforge ? Taking into account, I would start from zero. Thanks you
After my experience with Zombicide White Death, I am just waiting to see the value I get from stretch goals for MD2 SD and decide if core is worth it, other things I will look for in retail, or maybe just wait for the game in retail.
The double-edge to that is that the SG's are linked to backer support. So if everyone waits to pledge based on what's in the stretch goals, there won't be anything in the SG's. 😊
Oh and, the SG's right now include I think seven hero Alts, 4 or 5 different mobs, and 2 or 3 more roamers. So pretty good given what they're charging for regular add ons. I would like them to add more loot and missions, Maybe even tiles in the exclusives? I guess we'll see.
@@VariousIdeas-f2q Yes, I agree. It is not a consideration for me every time, but due to past performance and other things they have done disregarding backers (plus retail already contains a lot of stuff), I am more wait and see in this campaign.
@TheTintinjb totally fair. I have missed a few campaigns and really wanted the "exclusive" content, but also find campaigns are, ah, very strategic to promote FOMO. Which CMON are masters of. It is disturbing at times.
Alex, the issue with White Death isn’t the delay. It’s the fact that they released to retail whilst delaying backer pledges. It breaks the unwritten “contract” between backers and creators. Everything else is just the straw that broke the camels back.
Alex I swear, those dad jokes at the end keep getting better :D

If you love stealth action and the new XCOM video games, Earth Under Siege is the XCOM board game you're looking for!

Thanks, Alex. Count me safe from the FOMO - this week.
The Moonsaga will come to retail, as the others have, but will go out of print after a couple years.

And Beebop and RS
This. It’s disgraceful behaviour and draws no favour.
Aventuria is based on the German RPG das Schwarze Auge pronounced "Shvartz-uh Ow-Guh" which means the black eye
But it is officially translated as The Dark Eye, as "black eye" means the German "blaues Auge" ;)

You can always slow down the video in the settings 😂
I hope we get anastyr soon
I really liked dabba walla I’m not sure if you played that one. It got pretty ignored when released.
Cult of the Now this week is Darkest Dungeon on Amazon

Do you know when the campaign for Cities of Venus: Survivors begins?

I've seen the KS version of an Age Contrived at LGS at a serious discount. Definitely not gonna hold it's value.
!Aventuria :)
If someone has any questions about it, feel free to ask me!
They also did a playthrough of the first adventure here on this channel :)
