It would fit for a side Halo 2 game, playing as the ODSTs showing the side of Miranda, Johnson and In Amber Clad when they were doing their own side of things while Chief landed on Delta to chase Regret..
Alfie Bradic Holy shit, that’s exciting! My hype is immeasurable and now my day is complete! 🖤 Covenant Dance is probably one of my favorite CE songs right next to Devils... Monsters...
I swear this STILL has the chill and calming feel of the original somehow... Only now it has this triumphant and heroic edge to it that seems to ooze confidence.
Still my fav part of this ensemble is when Sgt. Johnson thumps the drop pod and Chief Thumps back. The music nails the timing and it accents the dynamic between the two. It's almost like watching an older brother tell his younger brother to watch his six without saying it. A Spartan I sending off a Spartan II with a lonely thump telling him "Don't get your arse shot up, we have plenty of war left".
Not even talking about this version's incredible quality, such a good video choice and handling! The moments on 0:22 and 1:01 are exactly what electroguitar (which is the visit card, the definition of Halo 2) was invented for!
I'm quite picky when it comes to Halo music, but this is perfection. I've listened to it probably 30 times now. Can agree with the other comment saying this would make a great ODST anthem.
You have just earned a sub! Awesome cover! you made it metal enough to be even more badass but kept the arrangement close enough to the original that the emotion of the song is translated.
343 please. Make this canon for Infinite. Like... you get a Scorpion tank, and you have to push through heavy Banished armor and forces dug in to a strategic position.
Hey man! This is awesome! I'm putting together a little amateur halo infinite tournament, and I was hoping to use this song for the trailer. Is that OK with you?
Why have I never heard this? I love it!
Wow, what an honour! Thank you Marty, that means so much to me.
halo and destiny sure did go downhill after you left didnt they?
Marty maybe you can give future Halo composers this as a guide/sample of what the fans love!
🙏
2:37 "Marty, if you ever read this. Thanks for being a childhood inspiration." It's nice to see you finally listen to this and comment on it.
Dude, this should be the official theme for the ODSTs. It fits the drop pods sequence perfectly.
to me it sounds like it would fit in reach more
@@bigboiariel fr same
indeed awesome cover

This is the remake we didn't know we needed
Halo: "We have the most Icon music"
Doom: "We have the most intense music ever!!!"
Halo: "Here, hold my plasma grenade..."
wouldnt the nade just stick?
@@memeboy6442 Lol that would make a funny bit
I didn’t know what to expect when I clicked on this and I am pleasantly surprised. I can’t imagine what you would do with Covenant Dance
That's funny, I sketched out a Covenant Dance idea just a few days ago.
Alfie Bradic Holy shit, that’s exciting! My hype is immeasurable and now my day is complete! 🖤
Covenant Dance is probably one of my favorite CE songs right next to Devils... Monsters...
@@AlfieBradic What happened to the Covenant Dance idea?
I come back to this periodically, and to see Marty himself recognize you for this brought a huge smile to my face! Congratulations my man!
I swear this STILL has the chill and calming feel of the original somehow... Only now it has this triumphant and heroic edge to it that seems to ooze confidence.
absolutely right. I want to hear this professionally done with the right mixing. Beautiful rendition. It's loudly calming.

1:01 Damn you're right. It's synchronized Daamn! Nice
If OG Bungie was making Halo, this would definitely fit. The potential of this song to play in a "gear up" cutscene or gameplay sequence is insane.
absolutely killed it. it's so perfect and fits right in with the halo 2 ost vibe
Being a musician, I enjoyed this a lot, but I enjoyed your end-note even more. The note to Marty is very relatable.
Would definitely like to see more stuff like this

This went hard from the very first note gatdamn
You knocked this out of the park. My son will love it, and you deserve about 100x the views.
I usually hate metal covers of otherwise non-metal music, but this one was great and very tastefully done.
Oh mama... this is epic 😎
This deserves so many more views
The song is so good. I also appreciate the thought you put into the accompanying video.
No waaay! You should do more of these!
Also, Halo 2 anniversary cutscenes are outstanding! Blur Studios well done!
this is such a goddamn bop
This is fantastic. It's about as halo as it gets. Anything else Halo you make would be Amazing.
Not only was this piece fantastic. You stuck Promise The Girl in at the end. I love this.
I wish this was on Spotify because I looped the same song over and over again. Fucking love this man

I definitely didn't expect something this good
This is badass
Did Marty ever see that little dedication at the end ?
Ha, I don’t think so!
@@AlfieBradic we gotta change that then
He commented here...check it
This is one of the best Halo arrangements I've ever heard. It's awesome!
Ok this is fucking epic wish it was on Spotify so I could replay it all day
I would love to see another halo piece like this that was incredible

Look like a halo series Intro where you the best scenes of the season
I love the clips you edited into this amazing song

Music so good I'm considering using it for my mod as epic background music for a battle
Jesus that was absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This really deserves more praise!!!!!!
Thanks a lot for the kind words!
Bro what the hell this goes unnecessarily hard holy shit
We need more stuff like this in the 343 halo games
This is what the Gravemind heard when he was listening through rock and metal and time
Fuck this is glorious. Please put this on Apple music, Spotify or even Soundcloud!
There's some heavy In Amber Clad vibes to this and I love it
When you've played halo 2 long enough to run and gun the entire game on legendary deathless in one sitting, John Wick style
This is sick!
Nice work!
You know the music, _time to dance_
Thanks for do this
Sound amazing
This is amazing!
Amazing
I love the guitar but it'd be so cool to hear a cover with just the instruments at the beginning.
If you search for my name on SoundCloud you can find a guitarless version!
It'd be cool to see you do an arrangement on Behold a Pale Horse from Halo 3 especially the end part of Behold a Pale Horse
Awesome!!!!
Excellent!!!
amazing!
Holy fuck this is insane
You should do more of this
The halo flashbacks... 343 should get some old halo soundtracks and put them in Halo Infinite.
@Johnny Silverhand they really do. Bringing back classic halo songs from halo CE and halo 2 is what halo infinite needs.
You should do a metal cover of Covenant Dance if you haven't already
consider this a halo 2a pc trailer
Una obra de Arte
BEAUTIFUL
Super enjoyed this video
Damn this is underrated
Fucking beautiful
This is fuckin sick bro
Congrats on 1k Subs!!!
I need this on spotify😭
Is it possible to put this on like Amazon, Spotify, or iTunes? Or do you need permission to upload it there?
Yeah, unfortunately I don't own the rights to the composition itself so I can't post it anywhere that generates revenue!
Epic E-P-I-C
🤟
Omg, rock on bro.
need 10 hours version
Tabs, I NEEEEEEDD ITTTT!
Un gros oui de la part d'un ami Belge , j'en est eu des frisson
Pretty cool, I would like to see Perilous Journey from Halo CE that's if possible?
Holy hell that was bootyful
Coming to a theater near you...
when will this be on spotify? cause it better be on there soon ;)
and thanks for that now there is exactly 118 comments
the beginning sounds like a banished version of peril
Boom!
As if direct from the hands of Vai himself with Benjamin supporting.
Hey man! This is awesome! I'm putting together a little amateur halo infinite tournament, and I was hoping to use this song for the trailer. Is that OK with you?
Of course! Feel free.
Imagine this in Infinite
Ohh please man is beauty! Great
Do more themes about halo
For example perlious of journey! Please man!
Bro you have got to get this on Spotify if possible!! 💯👌🏻
This should be one in Halo 2
Halo's anime opening theme lol this shit slaps
There are those who said this day would never come what are they just say now?
Fucking awesome
you should cover heretic hero
This should've been in CE:A
Try to do Halo 3's Another Walk
Do a metal version for Halo 5: Scavengers.
If this had a more 80s heavy metal sound, it would be truly epic.
This is basically just a halo: 2 anniversary trailer
Hi, I was wondering if it would be okay for me to use this music as my outro theme? Would that be alright?
Sure, no worries!
Do a halo 2 unyielding
Petrified I call it
