Nice video! Would like to see the cards you buy/sell for a few seconds; as is the transitions are too quick. Have you considered getting a bankroll of $40-50 at some point and either 1) picking up a PC slab or 2) buying a lot of cards (50+) on eBay, Facebook or Instagram?
Thank you! And thank you for the feedback on the transitions. I will make sure to make them a little slower going forward. I have thought about just holding off a little bit to buy something bigger. Sometimes the sales come a little slowly on the cards from this $20 collection and sometimes I feel the need to go out and add more cards of value. But the next steps are to increase that bankroll and get a nice PC card or a huge lot from eBay. We'll see how this round of cards go and go from there!
Thank you! I love the low end - especially when it comes to 90s inserts. One of my favorite things is when I run into an insert I know was a tough pull back in the 90's, no matter the player. I think it's cool to look at these cards I was never able to get as a kid growing up. I get to enjoy them for a bit before they go off to another person's collection!
Hey Andrew, I usually look for cards that I can sell for around $2.50 to $3 when I buy cards around the $1 range. I used to look for cards that would sell for at least $2, but they recently increase the shipping costs of standard shipping by $0.04 and it eats into the profit margins. But sometimes cards that I think would sell at $3 end up selling for $2 or even $1.50, I will usually take the loss on those and learn from it by either trying to find ways to lower the cost of goods or looking for other cards to purchase instead.
Hi Josh! Just found your channel and subscribed. I'm adding tcg cards to my ebay store to see if it's something that will work for me. How do you handle inventory and keeping track of which cards and how many of them you have? I was thinking of doing a spreadsheet but, as you know, card inventory can grow massively very quickly in just one or two boxes. Is there an easier way you know of? TIA!
Hi! I don't know of an easier way to keep track of my inventory other than using an excel spreadsheet. I currently use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of my inventory. At first it worked quite well because I didn't have as much of an inventory. I think starting next year I plan on revamping my process as I now have more inventory than I did at the start of the year. If there's someone who knows of a much better process or has a program I am definitely open to it! Oh and thank you so much for subscribing, I really appreciate it!
Thank you Josh, great content for collectors big and small!
Thanks Brad! There are many different types of collectors out there, I believe that there is no right or wrong way to hobby!

@@JoshUnboxed824 I feel that completely. 90s inserts are my favorite to just like stare at and ogle.
Always a help to collectors on a budget
Thanks Marcos! Glad you are able to find value in the video!
Love the update bro. Nice to see how much the $20 collection has grown!!!
Thanks bro! It's been coming along nicely. It's been a slow build on this collection, but it's been really fun.
Cool challenge. 😎 Keep up the grind Josh. 💯
Definitely a grind, but it's been exciting. Which reminds me, I need to make another video update about the challenge!
When you buy these 1 or 2 dollar cards, is there a specific profit or range you look for, when it comes to reselling?
