Been a while
I’m still around - I hand in my dissertation on the 14th May, then I’m free :)
I plan to have one last push with competitive cubing; I’ll practice for hours every day and try to make some real progress building up to worlds, but after that I think I’m too old and not quite good enough to cube full time (especially with it becoming more and more saturated with ridiculously good and young kids like yiheng). I think my real passion is in being an ambassador for cubing and trying to get people into it, not to go to comps every weekend.

I know what you mean the new wave of kids in the next couple of years they will shake up the cubing world with plenty of records and anyone now in their 20's will struggle to keep up. Good luck with your comps, dissertation & degree 👍
