You guys should create score cards for your technicians and make those KPI’s visible to everyone across the team. And then incentivize your techs (bonuses, pay, prizes, etc.) to beat their numbers.
I’d also hire more and make more techs part time. So that when they’re one the clock they really need to work to make more money. And cut tech hours if they’re not being reliable.

Love it man we actually have a performance pay structure that works great👌 love the feedback on how to make part time work better. Would love to figure it out this year so thank you. Do you run your own window cleaning business?

Question? What specifics would have you put a technician on a performance review?

How are you gonna get someone to wanna come into work if they have to go home if anyone calls out. Wouldn’t this also make it okay for guys to miss work because they know someone has them covered. Then next thing you know guys are calling out left and right

We think it will depend a lot on culture and the quality of guys we hire. Our team wants to work so they only call out when they are actually sick, not just because they know they have a backup. As for the rover, they would still get paid for the hours they were at the warehouse so they can make some extra cash for basically nothing. There are for sure some kinks we will have to work out so we will see how it goes. That’s the beauty of testing

@@Gatlin.McBride do you guys ever have to cancel a job if a guy calls out? How do you handle that with the customer?

We either try to put it on another technicians schedule or yes we have to reschedule them. Just depends on the situation
