The 2024 Toyota Fortuner GR-S has finally arrived in the Reygan's Rides garage and in this Filipino car review, we take it out for a drive. The 2024 Toyota Fortuner GR-S is the top-spec and most expensive Fortuner in the Philippines today, so it begs the question: Is the 2024 Toyota Fortuner GR-S worth it? The 2024 Toyota Fortuner GR-S is essentially a Fortuner LTD with GR Sport goodies, but it also has a key upgrade: Toyota Fortuner GR-S monotube dampers. The 2024 Toyota Fortuner is known to have a stiff ride, but the replacement of the stock shocks with monotube dampers transformed the ride into something almost as comfortable as the 2024 Ford Everest. The 2024 Toyota Fortuner GR-S is also getting old already, with nearly 10 years on this second generation Toyota Fortuner. However, the 2024 Toyota Fortuner GR-S keeps things fresh with its GR Sport goodies.

Kasi ang mitsubishi lumabas na ng bago sa triton soon sa montero, ford nmn bago na lahat, isuzu nmn may update sila sa new dmax nila. Toyota nlng ang hindi pa nag update. Baka pag bili ng gr sport biglang mag lalabas na ng all new toyotas

Hey Raegan. I have watched your Q&A portion. Why would you rather have XL7 rather than Innova? XL7 cant even bring itself for its own life whilst Innova can carry an XL7 and no problem (sarcasm)
Sana merong manual sa mga high end variant sa fortuner, walang thrill if matic ang hign end variant.
Kung dati masarap magmanual sa mga 2015 below na sasakyan kasi masmadali imaintain pero ang mga manual na kasi ngayon ay dual mass flywheel na. Which is more expensive compared to single mass flywheel na mga lumang sasakyan. Kaya mas ok ang matic ngayon kesa manual kahit gustuhin mag manual.

No ventilated seats in spite of being top spec. That's a bummer.
The car/truck is good if you drive in a straight line. It flips easily during maneuvers. It has a very high center of gravity.
Surprisingly it handles fast corners quite well. Not sports car fast, but faster than expected given the vehicle class.
It will only flip if you don't drive it sensibly. Know your car's limit
how do you know it flips easily? nakakita ka na? or feeling magaling ka lang?
I found out that fortuners has the stiffest ride because the diameter of its coils are one of the smallest especially the rear coil. We own an ltd and an old isuzu pick-up and i also found out that their engines are almost similar more like twins, making sense their durability
Yes, Toyota was able to improve their engine tech thanks to their investments/shares in Isuzu

Syempre si Everest, both interior at exterior. Nagkakatalo lang talaga sa reliability at availability ng parts. Isama mo na rin after sales service.
Mas maganda LTD may cool seats ang akin. GRS wala.

Literally the same thing. Except for reliability of Toyota they don't give you much for the price tag. Also I wouldn't want to have the "Fortuner Driver" moniker. Toyota"s are too stiff as well

Fortuner is too dated I would pay full price for that. it was presented 2015 same time we still have iphone 6s. this is one of the reason why fortuner had a high resale price because it's still not replace.
