Understanding and Acknowledging Disabilities from a Native Perspective

The mission of the Native American Disability Law Center is to advocate so that the rights of Native Americans with disabilities in the southwestern USA are enforced, strengthened, and brought in harmony with their community. A traditional Navajo story and traditional Hopi beliefs teach Native Americans how to view and care for those with disabilities.
